Leah B.

Humble Servant
The situation with my jaw continues to be bad, very painful, and has been going on for almost eight years. As you may recall, the dental specialist referred me to a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders. On July 31st I faxed the referral, as did the receptionist in the dentist's office. Today I called the neurologist's office who said I wasn't "in the system" yet. I then called the receptionist in the dentist's office, who said she had to send them even MORE information on me. She said it's not the fault of the neurologist. You see, it seems this extra information is required because of either State or Federal laws -- in other words, the very same people who get VIP emergency room treatment ten seconds after they stub their wittle pinkie toes have created yet another hurdle for peons like me who have been suffering for years to jump through in order to finally get to go to see a specialist. I am lightyears past being appalled. I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep and sleep and not deal with this anymore. I'm taking prescribed drugs that help to curtail the jaw movement, but they're making me SO tired. I have to stall taking them to get anything accomplished. Anyway, please pray I can get the care coordination between the neurologist and the dental specialist going on soon. Begging God I don't have to take the bad drug that could hurt my heart or give me Parkinson's disease. Also that I don't end up with facial droop or deformity from treatment. Finally, please pray for everything to go smoothly tomorrow. Thank you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We understand that you are going through a trying time with your health, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. First, we note that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, our mediator and the name by which we are saved.

Please know that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God,
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
1 Timothy 2:5 WEB

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB

We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus and come to Him with your petitions.

Now, let us address your situation. You are facing a long term trial of eight years and immense pain with your jaw. We want to address the frustration with the referral process and it is understandable that you are very tried. It is tempting to blame the dentist, neurologist, or the government; however, we must avoid such a temptation. There is no contending with the powers that be, since we are commanded to submit to the authorities in Romans Chapter 13. Even though it may be excruciating, let us strive to maintain a good attitude and not blame anyone. As believers, we are to let our lights shine before all men, that they may see our good works and glorify God in heaven. We can only do that by His grace and the Holy Spirit working within us.

Anger and frustration can easily beset us, especially when dealing with complex bureaucracy and a need for coordination between different specialists. However, we are encouraged in scripture to be patient and persistent, as God works all things for the good of those who love Him.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 WEB

We pray that God will grant you the strength and endurance to continue advocating for your health. We pray that the neurologist's office will promptly receive and process all the necessary information, and that the coordination between the neurologist and the dental specialist will proceed smoothly. We pray against any delays or hindrances caused by bureaucratic processes, and we ask God to give you favor and expedite your appointments and care.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment regarding your medication. We pray that you will not have to take any drugs that could potentially harm your heart or cause other serious side effects. We pray for God's healing touch upon your jaw, that the pain will subside, and that you will not have to deal with facial droop or deformity from treatment.

Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up our dear friend to You. We pray for Your healing hand to touch their jaw and relieve them of the pain they have been enduring for so long. We ask for wisdom for the dental specialist and the neurologist, that they may work together effectively to provide the best care. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or delay, and we ask for favor and expediency in the coordination of care.

We pray for supernatural strength and endurance for our friend, that they may continue to advocate for their health and not grow weary. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart, casting out all anxiety and frustration. We pray for a good night's rest and a smooth day tomorrow, with all things working together for good.

We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Trust that He is working everything out for your good, even in the midst of this trial. Remember that even in our weakness, His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect.

Leaning on Him,

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10 WEB

Leaning on Him,

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10 WEB

Why would I not blame anyone when it's literally the fault of sleazy, dishonest "doctors" looking to make money off of me who put me in this condition to begin with? It's the truth! That's all I was was an expendable piece of garbage to these people, a cash cow. I took medication for years that I didn't need for a condition that I do not have, and now I have sustained serious neurological damage because of it. You tell me not to blame the bureaucracy? Why? These people are like legalized mafia. The extra rules these politicians are putting in are just another stall job, probably because they've rendered Medicare insolvent because they steal from it and also because they're funneling the money to illegal aliens for votes. No. I have every right to be angry, and I have every right to want these people held accountable for what they did to me. They're monsters. I'll close with a related thing that just happened to my best friend -- She's been on retirement disability for years. All of the sudden, her bank deposit isn't showing up. She needs this money to pay her rent. For TWO days she called up this retirement place before finally getting a call-back. They informed her they allegedly sent her a letter that she needed to certify her income and also get a letter notarized stating she doesn't pay income tax. [My first question is how does a teacher's retirement fund turn themselves into a branch of the IRS? RIDICULOUS.] But back to point-- She too was made to jump through all these hoops. Then when she thought it was finally resolved, it STILL wasn't resolved. They claimed to have never gotten the fax. Then they came up with yet ANOTHER form she had to fill out and fax. Oh -- And for the final insult to her intelligence, guess what? They are STILL not depositing this money into her account this month. Instead she is to get a double deposit next month. If her dad was not paying her rent for her this month, my friend would now be on her way to being tossed out in the street. My guess? Same as with me, they're stealing money and then setting up scenarios to stall having to pay on legitimate claims. This being said, you may be right. Maybe it would be better for me if I could give up my anger, buy you know what fuels it even more? The fact that with the exception of a few people who truly love me, I am not hearing any moral outrage over this great evil that's been done to me. Apparently it's okay to turn a human being into a freak for profit.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
