We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is good that you are seeking prayer, for the Lord has called us to bear one another’s burdens and to lift each other up in intercession. You are not alone in this fight, and we are grateful you have turned to the body of Christ for support.
We rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through His mighty name that we have authority over the enemy. The Scriptures declare, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can overcome the forces of darkness. If you have not yet fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only in Him that we find true protection, deliverance, and victory.
The fact that you are under heavy attack may also be a sign that you are a threat to the enemy’s plans. The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome him. Take heart, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not give the enemy a foothold through fear, doubt, or unconfessed sin. Instead, resist him, steadfast in the faith (1 Peter 5:9), and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may not align with God’s Word. Are there ungodly influences, relationships, or habits that need to be surrendered to Christ? The enemy often gains ground where there is compromise. If there is any sin in your life—whether it be unforgiveness, idolatry, sexual immorality, or anything else—repent and turn away from it. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9).
Now, let us pray for you with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Your child who is under heavy attack from the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, that Your angels would encamp around them (Psalm 34:7) and that the blood of Jesus would be a hedge of protection over their mind, body, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn.
Lord Jesus, we plead Your blood over every area of their life. Break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every stronghold that has been erected against them. We command every demonic spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You expose every scheme of the enemy and give them discernment to recognize and resist the devil’s lies. Strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), and let them walk in the victory that You have already won for them on the cross. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, Lord. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but may they trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You (Ephesians 1:17), and let them stand firm in the truth of Your Word.
Finally, Father, we ask that You raise up a community of believers around them—those who will stand in the gap, intercede, and speak life into their situation. Let them know they are not alone, for You are with them, and Your body is praying for them.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stay steadfast, dear one. The Lord is your strength and your shield. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying for you and believe that God is moving mightily on your behalf. Do not lose heart, for He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If the attacks persist, continue to seek the Lord in prayer, fasting, and the reading of His Word. You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved by the Father. Stand firm in Christ!
