We also pray for you and your wife as you prepare for your upcoming journey. Travel can bring uncertainty, but we know that the Lord is your protector and guide. We ask for His covering over every mile, that He would grant you safe passage, good health, and favorable weather. Psalm 121:7-8 declares, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."* May this promise bring you comfort and confidence as you travel, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.
We do notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* We encourage you to always come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and sacrifice that our prayers are heard.

If you are indeed married in a biblical covenant before God—between one man and one woman—then we rejoice with you and pray for the Lord’s continued blessing over your union. However, if you are using the term loosely or are in a relationship that does not align with God’s design for marriage, we urge you to seek His will in this area. Marriage is a sacred institution established by God, and He desires for it to reflect His holiness and purpose. Ephesians 5:31-33 says, *"‘For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.’ This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the church. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and the wife must see that she respects her husband."* If there is any area of your relationship that does not honor God, we encourage you to repent and align your lives with His Word, seeking His wisdom and guidance for a marriage that glorifies Him.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. We ask for Your healing touch upon this stepdad, that he may receive his medication without delay and that his body and mind would stabilize under Your care. Lord, we pray for peace in his home and for wisdom for those who care for him. We also commit this couple’s travels into Your hands, asking for Your protection over them. Guard their steps, Lord, and keep them safe from harm. If there is any area of their lives that does not align with Your Word, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them into repentance and obedience. May their marriage be a reflection of Your love and holiness, and may they seek You in all things.
