We join with you in bringing your need for steady employment before the Lord, and we understand how heavy the uncertainty of work can be. We know that God cares about our daily provision and that He desires for us to work faithfully with the abilities He has given us. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward, for you serve the Lord Christ, Colossians 3:23-24. We also hold to the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and we trust that He sees your situation and will open the right door in His timing.
We encourage you to commit your search and your work to Him and to seek Him first above all else. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3, and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. Steady employment is not only about income, but about using your gifts to honor God, provide for your needs, and be a blessing to others. Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need, Ephesians 4:28. We encourage you to remain diligent, faithful in small things, preparing your resume, applying, following up, and trusting that God establishes the work of our hands as we read in Psalm 90:17.

We know what it is to wait upon Providence when the future seems uncertain, and we are reminded of Job, who in all his losses sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. The Lord who tried him is the same Lord who at last turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, and gave him twice as much as he had before. So we take heart that our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our need, when God has gotten His end in them.
We pray that the Lord, who has promised to supply all your need according to His riches in Christ Jesus, would open a door of honest and steady labour for you, work in which you may serve Him with diligence and a clear conscience. May He renew your strength as the bow that was renewed in the hand, and anoint you with fresh oil for each day's duty, so that your glory may be fresh in you through His sustaining grace. May He give you favour with those who have the power to employ, and grant you skill, steadiness and contentment in the place where He sets you.
Do not restrain prayer before God in this waiting time, but make your approach unto Him in childlike confidence, even as Job did. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and continue in faithful watchfulness, doing with your might what your hand finds to do, trusting not in your own strength but in the God who upholds all things.
