Standing....Just Not as Tall

All, I ask your prayers again for me and my family as I continue to hold out hope that my wife will wish to reconcile with me. We have been apart for some time now and she shows no sign of softening or a willingness to seek counselling. She is now fighting with my daughter, who now blames her for this divorce. She is blaming everyone for things that are wrong with her, instead of looking within and seeking the proper help. There is nothing I can say or do other than pray to God's mercy that she gets some help with her issues, seeks to begin the reconciliation process, and takes God into her heart yet again. She is being reinforced by people that do not serve her best interests, and have not had God in their hearts for some time. I am beginning to think that she is lost. Please also pray for my little girl, that she knows that God is indeed looking out for her.

Father,

I pray that in Steve's weakness You will make him strong in You. Lord, you don't ask for greatness in your servants, only a willing heart and devotion to You. I pray that You will lift Steve, help him to be a great Dad to his daughter, to pray for her often and to be there when she needs him. I pray he would continue to pray for his wife simply because he loves her, and she needs You. Lord bless Steve and help him to feel Your strength and purpose in his life and to know You have a plan, even though he cannot see it. Help him to trust You and obey You in all he does, and not to grow weary spiritually by re-filling in Your Word and in communion with You. Provide for his needs Lord and re-assure him of Your love. In Jesus' name, I ask this, Amen.
