standers enouragement 8/15/08

This weekend I pray, and ask you all to remember to pray, for all our prodigal but also for ourselves and prayer partners. We standers tend to feel so much pain and agony while our spouses are gone that we constantly pray for them but forget to pray for our own strength and hearts. We need to ask Jesus to touch and heal our broken hearts just as much as our spouses need healing. Most importantly we must remember to keep our eyes focused on the Lord and not on our spouses behavior.

I pray that this weekend MILLIONS of prodigal spouses will hear the word of God and feel his healing touch and will return to his arms and the arms of their familes. I also pray for those same healing and comforting arms to hold us standers and our families and give us the strength we need to keep praying and forgiving our prodigals.

I stand on the promises of what Jesus has hold my heart. I stand on my faith. I pray that this weekend our husbands,wives,mothers and fathers will have theirs hearts changed and eyes opened and that they will escape the grip of satan and run to the arms of Jesus and their families. I pray that God will send his angels to protect our lost spouses, our children and us standers. I also pray that no matter where our spouses are that they will feel Gods love and somehow feel our love also.

Father I ask for my husband as well as the other prodigal spouses. I stand as one of the 2 or 3 along with Ronnie and the others believing that YOU God will continue to bring our spouses to a place of total repentance. I also ask for healing in my heart as also for the other standers hearts. We are broken inside. It feels like someone has torn into our chests and ripped out our hearts with their bare hands. I pray for healing in our hearts and minds. I pray for strength as we wait on God to bring Mike and all the other prodigal spouses home

Standing with you today Ronnie, as I continue to stand for my marriage to Don, I continue to stand with all of you here also, I ask You Lord God for divine healing in these marriages, Lord, breathe new life into each and every one here fighting to save what You so graciously gave us in matrimony. Father protect the prodigals in all areas of their lives, renew the spirits with in them, I ask You Lord for deliverence and a deep conviction of heart in our husbands and wives. Father bring them back to where You want them to be, and then bring them home to us, uniting us in You and once again with each other. I ask these things in Jesus name, amen.
