Hey standers,
Have you ever doubted that The Lord will restore your marriage? I think we all have. It's easy to think that when things seem to be getting worse and have been taking what seems to be a long time. Remember it's always darkest just before the light. Sometimes we think "Was that really God speaking to me or was I just fooling myself?" Well this scripture below was sent to me and I had to share it with all of you.
"Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do. Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are far from righteousness. I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel." Isaiah 46:9-13
You see we serve an all mighty God. Satan, the world, and maybe your own spouse maybe telling you that there is no hope, that it's over, to give up, but the fact is God's purposes and desires stand forever, as do his promises. Jesus speaks faith, hope, and restoration. Satan speaks doubt, fear, torment, condemnation, and unworthiness.
The Savior Jesus has heard our cries and is going after our spouses every day regardless of what Satan tells us. Regardless of what your spouse says remember that right now they are being used as a puppet by Satan, ask Jesus to cut those strings and he will free your spouse.
Don't quit. Don't give up on Jesus or your spouse. Don't let Satan take your promise of a restored marriage and salvation for your spouse.
Yes, it's tough. But the rewards we and our families will receive on earth as well as in heaven are too great to give to Satan.
Stand, fight, believe.
