πŸ™Œ Standard & Longer (Personal) Lord's Prayer: Seek 1st The Father, His Honor Kingdom Will; Then Our Provision, Forgiveness for Us, Others, Kept from Sin & Evil, Matt 6:9-13, c.f. Matt 6:33...

πŸ“– "Pray, then, after this manner [1]... πŸ™Œ β€˜Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

[1] Jesus' Prayer He told us to pray was an outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been condensed from six reliable sources, is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not mindlessly repeated, but through serious consideration, understanding the wisdom of the requests, ardently prayed, James 5:16-17...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and thank You "so loving the world You gave Your Only-begotten Son!, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language of intimacy, Abba, i.e., "Daddy" or "Pappa, etc" as Jesus used in time of impending crisis for deliverance in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Abba, Father," Mark 14:36.

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow ALL Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, apostles, (missionaries/church planters), prophets, (encouragers/exhorters/visionaries), evangelists, pastors and teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly the POWER to live a Holy Life overflowing with LOVE for God and others, singing and making melody from "singing seminaries" and "the walking practice of evangelism" is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm (I refer to it as 8.0 based upon the 7 covenants God revealed in Redemptive History (whether they all dealt with us individually or not is irrelevant, they are still part of the history of redemption when humans had workings and dealings with God expressing His thoughts toward humans, the New Covenant -- "the already "is the 7th, where we are redeemed, have peace with God, are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, are part of "New Creation" though only a "foretaste of the good things to come." The change our bodies will incur and all creation eagerly awaits is our hope in Romans 8 and latter Revelation and is the 8th I'm calling 8.0 where ALL of these things will be realized in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom will have full expression once it's fully come on earth as it is heaven again -- the "not yet," -- "May Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven," Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- Keeping in mind the Kingdom Coming, as described above, in differing degrees, the already and the not yet, we ask here in the already that we may know, submit to and do Your will for our lives individually and collectively as the church, as Jesus did during His time on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28, and arrive in fulness at the Return of Christ.

<β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”(Selah)β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”--β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”>

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.
πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We rejoice with you in this deep meditation on the prayer our Lord Jesus taught us, for it truly is a pattern given to shape our hearts and not merely words to be repeated without understanding. Jesus said, Pray like this in Matt 6:9, and He also warned us in Matt 6:7 not to use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. What you have shared captures that wisdom well, that we first seek the Father and His honor, His Kingdom and His will, and then bring our own needs for provision, forgiveness, and deliverance, just as Jesus summarized in Matt 6:33, But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We love how you have divided the prayer as Jesus did. We begin with worship, Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name in Matt 6:9, and we thank God that through Jesus we can even call Him Abba, Father in Rom 8:15 and Gal 4:6, because as many as received Him, to them he gave the right to become Gods children in John 1:12. This is only possible because God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son in John 3:16, who shed His blood, died, was buried, rose again and ascended to pour out the Spirit of adoption. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We join you in hallowing His name, longing that His gracious and compassionate name revealed in Ex 34:6-7 would be honored in our thoughts, words and deeds, and not taken in vain as commanded in Ex 20:7, and that the world would bow at the name of Jesus as promised in Phil 2:10-11, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We pray with you, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven in Matt 6:10. We understand with you that the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit in Rom 14:17, and we long for its fruit in us, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self control in Gal 5:22-23, and for the gifts and power to live a holy life and to make disciples as He commanded in Matt 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8. We eagerly await the fulfillment when His Kingdom comes in fullness and Jesus returns, even as we pray Come, Lord Jesus in Rev 22:20.

Then we bring our daily needs as children dependent on our Father, Give us today our daily bread in Matt 6:11, remembering that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God in Matt 4:4 and Deut 8:3, trusting Him to supply every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Phil 4:19. We confess our need for forgiveness, Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors in Matt 6:12, knowing that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us in 1 John 1:9, and that we must forgive from the heart as we have been forgiven in Eph 4:32 and Col 3:13, leaving judgment and vengeance to the Lord in Rom 12:19. And we cry, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one in Matt 6:13, asking our Father to keep us from evil and give us a way of escape in 1 Cor 10:13, to guard us by His angels in Ps 91:11 and deliver us from evil men and false teaching as warned in 2 Tim 3:5 and 2 Tim 3:13, and to keep us abiding in Christ to bear much fruit in John 15:7-8.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus, through whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen in 2 Cor 1:20.

Our Father who is in heaven, we hallow Your holy name and thank You for making us Your children through the blood of Jesus. May Your name be honored in our lives and through Your church, and may Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea in Hab 2:14. May Your Kingdom come in us and through us with righteousness, peace and joy, with love and holiness, and with power to overcome sin and to witness for Christ, and may Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven, that we may know You, walk humbly with You in Micah 6:8, and make disciples of all nations. Give us this day all that we need, spiritually and physically, to love You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength in Mark 12:30 and to love our neighbors as ourselves in Mark 12:31. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us, cleanse us and teach us to walk in mercy. Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and guard us by Your power. For Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the power, and Yours is the glory forever. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were encouraged to read how much you want your prayer to be real and thoughtful, not just words repeated. Wanting to put God's name, kingdom and will first before bringing your own needs is a beautiful ordering of the heart, and we hear your desire to live that out daily.

It makes sense you would want to linger on each part instead of rushing through. One simple way we have seen help others is to take just one phrase in the morning and stay with it for a few minutes, thanking Him as Father, asking for His kingdom to be seen in your home and work that day, or bringing your daily needs honestly. No need to cover it all at once. Over a week you move through the whole pattern, and it stays fresh because you are talking with Him, not performing.

We are glad you are leaning into prayer as conversation and dependence, not a formula. We will keep praying that this pattern helps you meet with Him with growing peace and focus.

Father, thank You for inviting us to call You Father through Jesus. We ask You to be honored in our lives today, to shape our desires to Yours, to provide what we need, to forgive and teach us to forgive, and to keep us from evil. Draw this friend closer to You as they seek You first each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good that you have taken the prayer which our Lord taught his disciples not as a form to be mindlessly repeated, but as a pattern after which to fashion the heart's true supplication. He said, Pray after this manner, and therein gave us an outline of holy desires in their proper order, that we should seek first the Father, His honor, His Kingdom and His will, and then make known our need for provision, pardon and preservation.

Our Father who is in heaven. What mercy is here, that through the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. He who taught us to say Our Father has made us heirs of God through Christ, and as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God. Come then with the confidence of a child to a Father who is in heaven, enthroned in majesty, yet near to hear the lowest whisper of His own.

Hallowed be Thy name. This must be our first petition, that His gracious and compassionate name, as revealed in all His titles and attributes, may be reverenced in our thoughts, words and deeds. Holiness is an essential qualification to a man's fitness for being used of the Lord for the extension of His kingdom, hence our Lord's prayer for His people, Holy Father, sanctify them. Pray daily, Lord, make Thy people holy, that our lives may not cause that worthy name to be derided, but that the earth may be filled with His glory as the waters cover the sea.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The Kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, and we pray that its fruit may be seen in us, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, and that its power may be known, for the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power. Deliverance is of the Lord but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality, therefore we must not let the arrows lie still and say God will do His own work. We are to pray that the Lord would equip His church with every needful gift for the building up of the body until we all come to the full stature of Christ, and that we ourselves may be consecrated to the fulfillment of the Divine purpose, absorbed in the will of the Father as our Lord was when He said, Lo, I come to do Thy will, O God. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Give us this day our daily bread. Here we acknowledge our daily and hourly dependence. We cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. It is a glorious thing to have such a well in the family, where in prayer you can bring all the necessities of the household before God. Neglect prayer and you will soon discover that all your spiritual powers wax weak, but he that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere. Ask for spiritual bread, for emotional and temporal provision, that you may have strength to love the Lord with all your heart and to consider others as more important than yourselves.

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. I would have you hear this blessed whisper, There is forgiveness, There is forgiveness. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinner's forgiveness, and God can bestow it now for Christ's sake. He will not remember thy sins in His distribution of recompense, nor will He require the debt to be paid twice where Christ has paid it. He has no buts in His forgiveness. You make a clean breast in confession and He will give you a clean breast by absolution. And as you have been so freely forgiven, you must bear and forbear to the end, forgiving as you have been forgiven, entrusting judgment to Him to whom vengeance belongeth, and praying for those who have sinned against you that they may repent and be saved.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Here we pray for keeping grace. Make a broad wall in your daily life. If you begin to give way a little to the world, you will soon give way a great deal. Give sin an inch and it will take a mile. Pray that the Lord would keep you from sin, from lies, from evil men and false profession, and from the evil one himself, and that He would give His angels charge over you. When night comes, the night of death, the gate will be shut to those outside Christ, but now it is open. Abide within the wall of Christ's love and mercy, and there exercise yourself in prayer and meditation.

For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. All power in heaven and earth is given unto Christ, and His is an everlasting Kingdom which cannot be destroyed. Not unto us, O Lord, but unto Thy name be glory. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him, He also will hear their cry and will save them. When you have respect to God's will, God will have respect to your will.

Continue therefore in this pattern with serious consideration and ardent supplication, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Pray not as the heathen do with vain repetitions, but with understanding, faith and holy importunity, and the Father who seeth in secret shall reward openly. May the Lord teach you thus to pray, and make you abiding in Christ, that you may bear much fruit and prove yourselves His disciples, to His praise forever. Amen.
