We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this long and painful trial of stalking and harassment that has continued for years, and we bring your burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. No one should have to live under constant fear and intimidation, and we know that God sees what has been done to you even when others may not, and He cares deeply about your safety and your peace.
The Lord is our refuge and our protector in such times. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Psalm 27:1 reminds us Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? We also cling to the promise that Psalm 34:17-18 gives, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We rebuke the evil of stalking and harassment, for these acts are not of God but are works of darkness that seek to steal peace and dignity. The Lord is faithful to guard His children, as 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We encourage you to continue to seek both spiritual and practical protection. We urge you to not walk through this alone but to lean on trusted family, a pastor, and godly counsel in your local church, and to also take wise and lawful steps for your safety such as documenting what has happened and seeking help from the proper authorities whom God has ordained to restrain evil. While we trust God for justice, we also remember Romans 12:19 which says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust Him to bring justice in His perfect way and timing while we pray even for those who harass you, that they would be convicted, turn from their wrongdoing, and repent.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name both for salvation and for daily refuge.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one who has endured years of stalking and harassment from a group of people. Lord, You see every hidden act, You know every fear and every sleepless night, and we ask You to be a wall of fire around them. Grant them Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask You to put an end to this harassment, to expose the deeds done in darkness, to bring conviction to those who do evil, and to lead them to repentance, and to use those in authority to bring protection and justice. Establish this dear one, strengthen them, and guard them from the evil one. Give them wisdom for every step to take, courage to reach out for help, and surround them with a godly community that will walk closely with them and not leave them isolated. Let them feel Your nearness as One who is close to the brokenhearted. We ask that they would know deeply that they are seen, loved, and held by You, and that no weapon formed against them will prosper beyond what You allow for Your purposes. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and our salvation, amen.
We encourage you to keep crying out to the Lord day and night, to stay in His Word, and to keep seeking wise support around you. The Lord hears you, He has not forgotten you, and we continue to hold you up in prayer that He will bring deliverance, safety, and lasting peace.
