Disciple of Prayer
Good morning Sons of God May you please pray for me. My life is stagnant. I ask fo ways to have achievements, progress, changes, to be healthy and to have life partner with love, respect and trust.

We hear your cry for breakthrough and transformation, dear brother or sister in Christ. Stagnation can feel like a heavy weight, but we serve a God who makes all things new and who delights in leading His children into abundant life. First, we must address the foundation of your request, your relationship with the Lord. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without Christ, all other pursuits, even good ones, will ultimately leave you empty.

Now, let us lift your specific needs to the throne of grace. Stagnation is not your portion, for the Word declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke every spirit of delay, complacency, and fear that has kept you bound. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you and will quicken your mortal body to rise up and walk in purpose (Romans 8:11).

Regarding your desire for achievements and progress, we encourage you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Set godly goals, work diligently as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), and trust Him to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Health is also a gift from the Lord, and we pray that He will restore your body, mind, and spirit. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We command every sickness, infirmity, and spirit of fatigue to leave you now in Jesus’ name.

Now, concerning your desire for a life partner, we must clarify that the Bible calls this a spouse, a husband or wife within the covenant of marriage. God designed marriage to be a sacred union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), and it is a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a relationship, we encourage you to pursue courtship with the intent of marriage, ensuring that your future spouse is a fellow believer who shares your faith and values (2 Corinthians 6:14). Flee from fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18), for sexual immorality defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit. If you have stumbled in this area, repent and receive God’s cleansing (1 John 1:9).

We pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is feeling stagnant and longing for breakthrough. Lord, You are the God who turns mourning into dancing and gives beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3). We ask that You break every chain of delay, fear, and complacency in their life. Release them into the purpose and destiny You have ordained for them. Open doors of opportunity, restore their health, and fill them with Your peace and joy.

Father, we pray for their desire for a godly spouse. Lead them to someone who loves You wholeheartedly, who will walk with them in faith, love, and mutual respect. Guard their heart from impatience, lust, and ungodly relationships. Let Your will be done in their life, and may they trust in Your perfect timing. We rebuke every spirit of loneliness and declare that they are never alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).

Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them wisdom, strength, and boldness to step into the future You have prepared. May they seek You above all else, knowing that in You, they lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). We declare breakthrough, progress, and divine connections over their life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not grow weary, dear one. The Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, delight yourself in His Word, and trust that He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not forgotten, you are deeply loved by the Father, and your breakthrough is coming.

It is hard when life feels like it is standing still, especially when your heart is full of good, God-given longings for progress, health, and a loving partner. We hear you, and we are grateful you reached out.

Sometimes what feels like stagnation is actually a quieter season where God is strengthening something underneath the surface. While you wait on the bigger shifts, we have seen that steady, small steps taken with the Lord can begin to loosen the grip of feeling stuck. You might try beginning each day by simply offering it to Jesus and asking Him to guide you toward one concrete thing, a walk for your body, a kind conversation, learning a new skill, or serving someone nearby. Progress often builds from that kind of daily faithfulness.

As you hope for a life partner marked by love, respect, and trust, we can also become the kind of person who embodies those qualities. Investing in healthy community, whether through a small group, a ministry you care about, or just faithful friendship, can help prepare the soil even while you wait.

Let us pray with you now:

Lord Jesus, you see this person who feels so stuck. Breathe fresh hope and direction into the stagnant places. Guide them into meaningful steps forward in health, work, and purpose. In your perfect time, bring a godly spouse who shares mutual love, respect, and trust. Until then, draw them close to you, and let them know they are not alone. In your name we pray, Amen.

Your soul is feeling the weight of stagnation, and you cry out for progress, health, and a companion to share the path. Learn this first and foremost: true wisdom is the compass across life’s trackless waste, and that wisdom begins and ends with simple trust in the living God. He is the Source of all life, the Giver of every good gift, and Sustainer of breath itself. You have been looking at your own strength, and that brings despair, what is your strength but perfect weakness? Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim; trust Him now, without waiting for signs or feelings.

To desire achievements and changes is not wrong, but beware the witchery of self-trust. We are so foolish that we would lean on a broken reed. The way forward is not frantic striving, but resting entirely upon His mercy and faithful care. Are you a dying man, frail as the moth, and can you trust yourself? Far better to trust your merciful God to help you, for He has life in Himself, and He quickens whom He will. Pray and then move in prudence, but let your confidence be in Him alone, not in schemes or earthly wisdom. This will keep you from the sorrow of gaining by sinful means; the treacherous path of impatience never yields lasting fruit.

As for a life partner, trust the Lord who gives good gifts. He knows your need. Do not run like the wild ass’s colt, wasting strength in worry. The Shepherd who keeps the sheep never outgrows His care for you. Take your desires to Him, but let your first desire be the Giver, not the gift. Seek first His kingdom, and all these things will be added. A spouse marked by love, respect, and trust is a tender mercy, yet even this must not become the object of your ultimate trust. Keep on trusting Jesus; you began by trusting Him for your soul, now trust Him with your whole life. He who could save a million souls can certainly order your path and give you what is fitting.

The life of faith is a walk, a constant habit. Each day trust grows easier as you prove Him faithful. I have known Him these ### years and testify that He has never been a wilderness to me. You shall yet see His hand making waste places into gardens. Only keep looking to Him, and stagnation will give way to living streams.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of stagnation, but I ask you, what is stagnation in the eyes of God? Consider that a tree must first send its roots deep into the earth before it can bear fruit. The oak that is clenched firmly below is not overturned by any wind. So it is with the soul nailed by the fear of God: what seems to you a barren standing still may be the very season in which the Lord is deepening your faith, that you may not be a ready prey, easily thrown down like the seed that withered for lack of root. We seek always for progress, for changes, for achievements, but endurance is produced when doctrines are deeply rooted. Do not mistake the quiet work of the Spirit for idleness. The breaking up of the fallow ground is not stagnation, but preparation.

Look also at how you speak of a life partner. You ask for one with love, respect, and trust, and this is a lawful desire, but I must ask, what is the righteousness that undergirds this request? There is a righteousness not according to Christ, a mere moral desire. If you seek this partner only that you might escape the feeling of being alone or because others have, then you are like a man with a reed beating at the fire; you only make your restlessness burn brighter. If your love is to be without offense, let it have respect to what is truly profitable, not that you should be void of understanding. A partner granted by God is meant to sharpen you for the Kingdom, not to be a pillow for a discontented heart. I would not that your love, or your longing for it, should injure you by hindering your perception of what is truly necessary. For what is baser than a soul in love with comfort, flattering its own desires? That is a shameful inconsistency.

Now hear the remedy. Christ said to those who believed, “If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” You feel your life is stagnant because you look for freedom from your circumstances, but the first liberty is freedom from your sins. That is the only progress which cannot be reversed. The barbarians in Melita looked at Paul and saw a viper hang from his hand, and they said, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.” They saw only his bonds and his misfortune. They did not see that trials in every case bring forth great good, that through the cold, the shipwreck, the serpent, and the chains, the Lord was only making His servant more illustrious and opening a door for the healing of an entire island. Daniel was cast into the pit, and from there he became more renowned. Are you willing to see your present lowliness as the place where God will display His power? Paul did not despise gathering sticks for the fire. He was active in the small duty. You ask for ways to have achievement: begin there. Do the work set before you, however humble, not with a view to vain display, but that you may be preserved and may be a warmth to others.

And if you seek health, know that the body’s vigor often emboldens the soul toward licentiousness, while the soul that is nailed to God’s fear is truly whole, even in sickness. The father of Publius lay sick with a fever and a flux, yet through Paul’s prayer, he was healed. But the greater healing was that his whole household received the word of preaching and honored them with many honors. Seek first the healing of the soul, that you might be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. A life partner given under these terms will not be a snare of the wicked one, but a fellow-laborer. Do not seek the gift over the Giver, and do not measure God’s love by the speed with which He answers your demands. He freed the martyr from the uncertainty of the future by calling him home early; what loss was that? The having of good days does not depend on living many years or having much change, but in using life properly.

Let your prayer, then, be not first for a partner or for mere movement, but that you might continue in His word. For if God sees that you are truly made free from the inward stagnation of sin, He well knows what outward changes are healthful for you. Those who make their requests with boldness at the throne of grace are those whose affections are already nailed there. Reform your estimation from this hour. The world’s progress is a rushing river, but the man who builds on the rock is not swept away. Stand there, and you will find that what you truly long for is not stagnation’s end, but the strong hand of God leading you from death into life.
