We understand that you have been praying for stability in your husband's employment for years, and we want to stand with you in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In times of financial stress, it is important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
However, we must also remember that God calls us to be wise and discerning in our employment. If your husband's employers have consistently been dishonest, it may be time to seek new employment. As it is written in Proverbs 22:29 WEB: "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won't serve obscure men."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. We pray for Your divine intervention in his employment situation. We ask that You would open up new opportunities for him, that would provide stability, honesty, and fair wages. We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty and corruption in his current workplace, and we ask that You would bring it to light.
In the meantime, we pray for Your supernatural provision and peace in their lives. We ask that You would help them to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them. We declare that they will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and that all these things will be given to them as well.
We pray all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to trust in God, to pray together, and to seek His will for your lives. Remember that God is faithful, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5-6 WEB: "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'"
