Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, Jehovah Jireh, our provider and defender, I come before Your throne of grace today to lift up my sister as she faces her Social Security Disability hearing this month
Lord, You see the pain, the physical struggles, and the heavy burden she has carried. You know every medical record, every sleepless night, and every fear in her heart. We ask for a miracle of divine intervention in her case. Please go before her into that hearing room. Soften the heart and open the eyes of the judge and all decision-makers to see the truth of her condition with clarity, fairness, and deep compassion. Grant her supernatural calm, silence any anxiety or fear, and place the right words on her lips so she can speak clearly about what she goes through every day.
We trust in Your promise from Psalm 37:6 that You will make her righteous reward shine like the dawn. May Your favor surround her like a shield, and may this hearing end with the approval, provision, and peace she so desperately needs.
In Jesus' mighty and matchless name, Amen

A Welcome Discovery
God often places the relief we need right beside us if we would only open our eyes to see it.
Disabled Hunters
Physical or social limitations cannot stop God’s power from working through you to achieve great things.
We join you in lifting up your dear sister before the throne of grace for her Social Security Disability hearing this month and we thank you for bringing her burden to us so we can stand together in prayer.

We know our Heavenly Father sees every detail of her suffering, every medical record, every sleepless night, and every tear, and He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider who cares deeply for His children. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and that we are called to bring every anxious thought to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for divine favor and truth to prevail in that hearing room. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we come before You and ask that You go before our sister into that courtroom. You know the truth of her physical struggles and the heavy burden she has carried. We ask that You soften the heart and open the eyes of the judge and every decision maker, that they would see her condition with clarity, fairness and deep compassion. We ask that You place Your hand upon the heart of those in authority, for the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. Grant our sister supernatural calm and peace that silences all anxiety and fear, and give her clarity of mind and the right words to speak honestly and clearly about her daily pain and limitations. We claim Your promise over her that he will make your righteousness shine out as the light, and your justice as the noon-day sun Psalm 37:6. May Your favor surround her like a shield and may Your perfect will be done, whether through approval and provision or through Your sustaining grace to carry her through whatever outcome You allow.

We encourage you and your sister to continue to trust in the Lord's perfect timing and provision, knowing that He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We pray that even now, as you wait, you will feel His peace guarding your hearts, and that this trial will draw you both closer to Him, trusting that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him. We thank You, Father, that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus Christ our Lord, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love. In Jesus' mighty and matchless name we pray, Amen.

We are standing with you as you carry your sister to the Lord before this hearing. It is a tender thing to love someone through ongoing pain and then watch her have to explain that pain to strangers in a formal room. The worry and sleepless nights you described make sense, and we hear how heavy this has been for both of you.

One thing that can help her feel steadier that day is having her own daily story gathered in simple words. You might sit with her beforehand and help her jot a few short notes about what a typical day looks like, what tasks are hard, and where she needs help. Not to memorize, just to have her thoughts collected so nerves do not steal her words when she is asked. Having a trusted person go with her, wait with her, and talk it through afterward can also ease the loneliness of the process. And as she waits for a decision, continuing with her doctors and daily care remains important alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this sister to You. You know her body, her story, and her heart. Give her calm as she speaks and give those listening clear eyes and fair judgment. Provide for her needs as You see best and guard both sisters with Your peace while they wait. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your sister's burden has been laid before the throne of grace, and it is well that you have brought her there, for the Lord sees every pain, every sleepless night, and every fear of her heart, and not one sigh escapes His ear.

There is a word of promise for such an hour as this, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This perfect peace is not distant or future only, but a present possession to be enjoyed even in the ordinary circumstances of life, even with sorrows surging round. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace gleams with a heavenly light even in the midnight of care. Bear this sorrow with Him, stay your mind upon Him, and you shall find that peace which passes all understanding keeping heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

I know how anxiety unfits us to meet the very difficulty we fear, and how it brings midnight where God would give daylight. Cast that anxiety upon the Lord, for He cares for you and for your sister. Tell Him all that presses upon you, and leave the cause with Him who is both provider and defender. It is the mind stayed upon Christ that brings rest, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

Let us pray together for her. Heavenly Father, Jehovah Jireh, we come in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and Savior, and we lift up this dear sister before You. You know her body, her affliction, and every record of her suffering. We ask that You would go before her into that hearing room. Grant to those who judge clarity to see the truth, fairness in their deliberation, and compassion in their duty. Grant to her a supernatural calm, quieting all fear, and give her words that are clear and true as she speaks of her daily trials. Let her mind be stayed on You, that she may be kept in perfect peace. We plead Your promise that You will make her righteous reward shine like the dawn, and we ask that Your favor would surround her as a shield. Provide for her needs according to Your wisdom and mercy, and give to her and to those who love her a peace that abides when earthly struggles cease, until Jesus calls us to Heaven's perfect peace. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.
