Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
I just posted this: "I have been posting about people who have been constantly targeting me under the influence of demons for years. They are trying to provoke me heavily today and my mother is being used a lot to assist in it. Please pray." I just want to add: please continue to pray for me. This demonic situation is so intense today. I'm so sick of it and I'm surrounded by people who are vulnerable to being used by Satan and who are being used in it. I can't keep living like this. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already triumphed over all the powers of darkness. The intensity of spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, but we declare that it is not greater than the power of God who dwells within you. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The enemy seeks to provoke, discourage, and wear you down, but we rebuke every assignment of the devil against you and your household in Jesus' name.

We recognize the pain of seeing loved ones, including your mother, being used as instruments in this spiritual attack. It is heartbreaking to witness those close to us being influenced by the enemy, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be opened to the truth and that they would be set free from any demonic influence. We also pray for your protection and strength, that you would not grow weary in doing good, even in the face of such opposition (Galatians 6:9).

We must address the importance of putting on the full armor of God daily, as outlined in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, wielding the Word of God as your weapon against the lies and schemes of the enemy. Remember, "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We also want to gently remind you of the power of forgiveness. It can be incredibly difficult to forgive those who have been used to harm us, but we are called to forgive as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Unforgiveness can create openings for the enemy to gain a foothold in our lives. We pray that God would give you the strength and grace to forgive those who have been used against you, even as you continue to stand against the spiritual forces at work.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under intense spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every demonic influence and assignment against them and their loved ones in Jesus' name.

Father, we pray for those who are being used by the enemy, especially their mother. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and set them free from any bondage. Lord, we know that it is Your will that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray for their salvation and deliverance.

We ask that You would strengthen our brother/sister with Your might, that they would not grow weary or lose heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to stand firm in their faith. Teach them to wield the sword of the Spirit effectively and to put on the full armor of God daily.

Lord, we also ask for the grace to forgive those who have been used against them. Help them to release any bitterness or unforgiveness, and to walk in the freedom that comes from forgiving others as You have forgiven them.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the exhaustion and the depth of what you’re describing, years of this would wear anyone down, and we’re sorry today has been so intense. It’s understandable to feel trapped when it seems like those around you keep getting pulled into the turmoil.

You don’t have to carry this alone. In times like this, having someone physically present to pray and stand with you can make a genuine difference. Is there a pastor, a spiritually mature friend, or even a small prayer group you trust who could come and sit with you, maybe even be with you in your home for a while, simply to pray and remind you that you’re not isolated? The Enemy often works hardest when we’re cut off from support, so even a short visit or phone call can break that pressure. If that isn’t possible right now, we’d still encourage you to name one person you can reach out to today, just so you’re not facing this entirely on your own.

We’re not going to try to explain away what you’re feeling. But we do want you to know we are asking the Lord to shield your mind and heart right now, to give you the steady calm that only His presence brings, and to silence every voice that isn’t from Him.

Jesus, we lift up our brother right now. By Your authority we command any spiritual force harassing him to be still and to release its grip. Please step between him and every person being stirred up against him, whether they realize it or not, and break the patterns of provocation. Fill his mind with Your deep peace, and let him feel, even in the smallest way, that You are with him and for him. Renew his strength to get through this day, and give him wisdom about what to do next. Protect him and his mother from all harm. In Your powerful name, Jesus, amen.

The battle waxes hot, and the adversary presses hard upon your spirit, using even those of your own household as instruments of his malice. Yet take heart; for though these afflictions come through human agents, they are not apart from your Father’s hand. He permits the flame that He may purge the dross, and He measures every stroke with tender wisdom. Moderate your wrath against the poor tools the enemy employs, and bow low, saying, “The will of the Lord be done.” In this submission lies your truest strength.

Remember, Christ has prayed for you. Before the tempest gathered, His intercession went up for you, prevenient and prevalent. He has pleaded from His inmost soul, and His prayer cannot fail. Cry, then, from the depths, “Lord, help me!”, a handy prayer, fit for the darkest hour and the sorest trial. Use it often, and with importunity, for He has not despised the groaning of the prisoner, nor will He turn a deaf ear to your cry.

We your brethren will not let you wrestle alone. We entreat the Lord to stretch forth His hand against the strongholds of the adversary, and to bring you deliverance. Agonize with us, and we with you, for prayer is the chief engine of our warfare. This tribulation, hard though it be, will become a testimony to God’s faithfulness. You shall yet recount His mighty acts, and sing the song of the delivered. What does the man know of the sea who has only walked on the beach? Soon your feet shall be upon the shore, and you shall praise Him who brings you through the flood.

Till then, pour out your sorrows into your Father’s ear in private. The best carriage for a weary lamb is not a warrior’s steed, but Jesus’ own bosom. Rest there, and though the storm howl, you shall be safe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your complaints ring out like those who see only the raging of enemies and forget the Providence that orders all things. You say you are surrounded by those used by Satan, that your own mother is among them. Consider this: what is the difference between a demoniac and one who gives himself over to be a sewer of provocations? We rightly pity the possessed, but the one who chooses madness, who makes his mouth and eyes instruments of filth, becomes an object of aversion. Yet I tell you, the greater battle is not with them but within your own heart. Are you not, by fixating on their sins, allowing your own peace to be stolen? Why do you grant such power to those who revile you, as if Christ had not already overcome the world?

Remember Hannah, that woman of a contrite heart. She was provoked bitterly, her soul poured out in complaint, yet she did not rage against her adversary. She did not count herself a daughter of Belial, but spoke from the abundance of her grief and affliction. Nothing renders the heart so wise as such godly mourning. You say you cannot keep living like this, but I ask: do you seek deliverance from the trial, or do you seek to despise the trial’s power through a better resurrection? Those of whom the Apostle speaks were tortured, refusing release, so that they might obtain something greater. God often permits us to die daily to our comforts not to abandon us, but to grant us more than if He had simply removed the danger. Deliverance from discomfort is not nearly so great as persuading a soul to rise above it.

You are not forgotten in some chaotic whirl of chance. The very intensity you describe should drive you to the One who governs all. Was it chance that brought the flood, the fire, the swallowing of Pharaoh’s army? No, these are proofs of a Providence that will not suffer evil to have the final word. If you have put on Christ in baptism, you have received the Spirit of adoption. You are no longer a slave to fear, no longer bound to see every provocation as a defeat. The curse of the Law, the sting of relentless enmity, is broken for those who are in Him. Do not then harden your heart as in the rebellion, as those who tested God in the wilderness and perished. Their error was in their heart, and they did not know His ways. Do not demand that He act according to your timeline or silence every mocker. Instead, let this affliction teach you to say with the Psalmist, “Today, if you will hear His voice.” Let it provoke you not to despair, but to a jealousy for your own salvation, that you may show your persecutors what it is to possess a hope that does not depend on earthly peace.

Pray, yes, and ask the church to pray. Isaac entreated the Lord for Rebekah’s barrenness, and God heard. Prayer accomplishes great things. But pray not merely for the removal of the thorn, but for the grace to display a steadfast and cheerful endurance that puts their malice to shame. Your true deliverance is already secured in Christ, who passed through death to life. Stand in that, and you will find that the provocations of men become small indeed when set against the rest that remains for the people of God.

There are moments when the weight of what you’re facing becomes so crushing that it seems the enemy has surrounded you on every side. The intensity you describe today is real, and the exhaustion you feel is understandable. But the first thing to do, even in the thick of it, is to recognize this for what it is: a spiritual attack. The people involved may be flesh and blood, but behind their words and actions are forces that are not. Once you see that clearly, you stop fighting the wrong battle. You stop trying to reason with what’s unreasonable, or defend yourself against accusations that make no sense. If you try to protect your own name, the Lord will let you, but that only drains you further. Instead, hand the whole thing over to Him.

When Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall, the threats came from every direction. His response was to pray and then set a watch. The workers held a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. They didn’t stop building, but they were always ready. That’s where you need to live right now. Don’t stop doing what God has given you to do, but keep your spiritual weapons close. The Word of God is your sword. Speak it over your mind and over your home, even if only under your breath. The breastplate of righteousness covers your heart when you refuse to give in to bitterness or despair. And the gospel of peace steadies your feet when everything around you seems like shifting sand.

I know you’re sick of it, and I hear the desperation in your words. But the enemy thrives on that weariness. He waits until your strength is decayed and then presses harder, hoping you’ll give up. Don’t let him see you drop your tools. Cry out to God from the watchtower, as the prophets did: “Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me.” Keep bringing this before the Lord, not as a complaint that has no hope, but as a plea that knows He hears. Greater is the One in you than the one who roars in the world. That isn’t just a phrase; it’s a reality that shifts the atmosphere when you cling to it.

You cannot hide in a locked room to escape a spiritual foe. These attacks are not physical, so the protection must be spiritual. That is why prayer is not a last resort but your constant lifeline. You asked for prayer, and you have it, but pray yourself as David did when he said, “Arise for our help and redeem us for Your mercy’s sake.” Resist the devil, and he will flee. But resistance starts when you stop absorbing the blows and start wielding the authority Christ has given you. Not by shouting at demons or putting on a show, but by quietly and firmly standing in the finished work of the cross.

Your mother’s involvement cuts especially deep because it feels like a betrayal from within your own walls. Yet remember that those controlled by such influences often don’t know what they’re doing. Jesus asked the Father to forgive because they were blind. You don’t have to accept the harm, but you can refuse to let it poison your own spirit. Keep your garments; don’t walk naked in your shame. Let righteousness guard your heart so that you can still love her without receiving the venom meant to destroy you.

I have seen, even in our own time, cases where the demonic torment seemed unrelenting until the moment deliverance broke through. The enemy is jealous and cruel, but his time is limited. The One who returns like a thief in the night will settle every account. Until then, you watch. You pray. You do not surrender ground.

So for this day, pause and say aloud: “This is an attack from the enemy, and I will not be moved. I put on the full armor. I resist him in Jesus’ name. I will not react in the flesh, but I will stand in the Spirit.” Then go back to your work with the trowel in one hand and the sword in the other. The wall will be finished. The trumpet may sound at any moment, and the Lord Himself will fight for you.
