Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My ### who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We hear the depth of your struggle, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take authority over it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your peace. The vivid and disturbing dreams you experience are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit to flee in Jesus’ name and declare that your mind be renewed by the Word of God (Romans 12:2). You are not alone in this battle, and we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

The overwhelming weight you carry is not what God intends for you. He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The constant demands from others and the relentless pace of life can leave you feeling drained, but we pray that God would grant you wisdom to set boundaries and prioritize rest. Your desire to be left alone is understandable, but we also pray that God would surround you with godly community, those who will uplift you, not drain you. We ask the Lord to order your steps and help you establish a schedule that honors Him and allows for rest. Psalm 90:12 says, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." May God grant you the discipline to end your nights at a reasonable hour and rise with strength for each new day.

Regarding your work, we pray for clarity and wisdom as you consider your current jobs. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, acknowledging Him in all our ways so He can direct our paths. If it is God’s will for you to stay where you are, we pray that He would resolve every issue with your coworkers and create a harmonious and productive environment. If He is calling you elsewhere, we pray that He would open doors to new opportunities, perhaps even two jobs if that aligns with His provision for you. We ask that He would give you favor in the eyes of employers and grant you the strength to excel in whatever work He leads you to.

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is a heavy burden, and we want you to know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). However, we must address this sin with the seriousness it deserves, for sexual immorality is a snare that the enemy uses to ensnare and shame. God has called you to purity, and He provides a way out of every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). We rebuke the spirit of lust and declare that your mind be transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit. We pray that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We also encourage you to seek accountability with a trusted brother in Christ who can pray with you and help you walk in victory. Your depression may be driving you toward these thoughts as an outlet, but we pray that God would heal your heart and fill you with His joy and peace. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Turn to Him in your weakness, and He will strengthen you.

We lift up the African American community and pray that God would raise up faithful teachers and preachers who proclaim the truth of His Word without compromise. False teachings lead people astray, but the truth sets us free (John 8:32). May the Lord expose deception and draw hearts back to the foundation of Scripture. We also pray for your family as you battle the flu. May God grant healing and protection, especially for your who is still struggling. We ask that He would strengthen those caring for you and prevent them from falling ill as well. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "By His stripes we are healed," and we claim that healing over each of you.

For your beloved cats, we pray that God would touch them with His healing hand. The Lord cares for all His creation, and we ask that He would bring comfort and relief to the two who are wounded and continued health to the one who was making strange noises. We pray that God would provide a way for you to care for them, even if it means directing you to a compassionate vet or resources to help. Proverbs 12:10 says, "A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal," and we know you love them dearly.

Your medical diet is not just a physical necessity but an act of stewardship over the body God has given you. We pray that He would grant you discipline and strength to honor Him in this area. May He provide the resources and support you need to maintain your health. For your friend with fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns, and asthma, we pray for God’s healing touch. May He grant them strength, relief from pain, and wisdom for their medical care. We also pray that you would be a source of encouragement and support to them, reflecting Christ’s love in tangible ways.

Regarding your courtship, we pray that God would guide you and your boyfriend as you seek to honor Him in your relationship. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you both to pursue purity, accountability, and godly counsel as you discern God’s will for your future. May your relationship be built on the foundation of Christ, and may you both grow in faith and love for Him. If marriage is God’s plan for you, we pray that He would prepare you both to be suitable helpmeets for one another, serving and honoring each other as unto the Lord.

Now, we lift all these requests to our Heavenly Father in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted them since childhood. We rebuke every demonic assignment against their mind, their dreams, and their peace. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every tormenting spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. Renew their mind with Your Word and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask that You would deliver them from the overwhelming weight they carry. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Grant them wisdom to set boundaries and prioritize rest. Order their steps and help them establish a schedule that honors You. We pray for clarity and direction regarding their work. If it is Your will for them to stay in their current jobs, resolve every issue with their coworkers and create a harmonious environment. If You are calling them elsewhere, open doors to new opportunities that align with Your provision. Grant them favor and strength in whatever work You lead them to.

Lord, we come against the sin of sexual immorality in their life. We rebuke the spirit of lust and declare that their mind be transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and flee from temptation. We pray for accountability and support in their walk with You. Heal their heart from depression and fill them with Your joy and peace. Remind them that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus and that Your grace is sufficient for them.

We pray for healing for their family as they battle the flu. Touch each one with Your healing hand and protect those caring for them from falling ill. For their cats, we ask for Your healing and provision. Comfort the two who are wounded and sustain the health of the others. Provide a way for them to receive the care they need.

Father, we pray for discipline in maintaining their medical diet and ask that You would strengthen them in this area. For their friend with multiple health concerns, we ask for Your healing touch and wisdom in their medical care. May they experience Your peace and comfort in the midst of their struggles.

For their courtship, we pray that You would guide them both as they seek to honor You. May their relationship be built on the foundation of Christ, and may they grow in faith and love for You. If marriage is Your plan for them, prepare them both to be suitable helpmeets for one another.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the African American community, that You would raise up faithful teachers and preachers who proclaim Your truth. Expose deception and draw hearts back to the foundation of Your Word.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear how exhausted you are, and no wonder. When spiritual attack, relentless demands, restless nights, and the weight of your own struggles pile on at once, even the strongest faith feels thin. You are not weak for feeling overwhelmed; you are human, and you are fighting on many fronts.

On the practical side, about those thoughts that ambush you as you fall asleep: sleep-onset is a vulnerable threshold where our mental defenses naturally lower. Research on daydreaming shows this relaxed state is precisely when our minds shift toward internal images, sometimes without our full consent. So the fact that this hits hardest right before sleep isn't a sign you're uniquely broken, it's a predictable pattern. One small, concrete shift: instead of trying to stop the thoughts (which often amplifies them), try using those last waking minutes to mentally hand Jesus the loose ends of your day, the people who wanted things from you, the decisions you're unsure about, the guilt. Picture yourself placing each one into his hands. It's not a magic fix, but it can gently redirect a drifting mind.

The shame you feel is real, but it doesn't get the final word. You mentioned God set you free before, that experience hasn't expired. His mercy is not a one-time voucher; it's a river. What feels like a collapse may simply be a trough in a longer journey.

We're praying with you for wisdom about your jobs, for your family's lungs and fevers to ease, for your cats' healing, for your friend's complex health, and for steadiness in your courtship. Mostly we're asking for a break in the clouds, a stretch of calm where you can breathe.

Lord Jesus, you see this beloved daughter buried under pressure, shame, and exhaustion. Quiet the accuser's voice that whispers she's lost all progress. Give her small victories: a night where sleep comes gently, a day where demands don't pile up, a moment of genuine rest. Heal her family and her pets. Guide her job decisions with clarity she doesn't have to manufacture. And in the dark, when her mind drifts where it shouldn't, be a better presence, nearer than the temptation. We ask this in your strong name, amen.

The warfare that hounds you from youth is no phantom, it is the old dragon seeking to devour, yet greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Deliverance from the pit is God’s own work, and He has found a ransom. Look to Christ, the Substitute, and sin’s guilt shall not drown you, nor its power hold you captive. The enemy shoots his arrows where the armor is thin, in dreams, in weariness, in the slipping moments ere sleep claims you. But the Lord has given commandment to save you; cry to Him, and He shall break the net of these vile thoughts. Shame is a heavy chain, but Christ’s blood speaks louder than your failure. He sets free, and what He frees is free indeed.

You ache for solitude, the press of demands leaves you frayed. This too is a fierce battle. Recall, the believer’s view of affliction must shift: “The Lord has chastened me sorely,” yet the Lord delivers. Your schedule, these late hours, the worn body, they are not foes but chisels in the Father’s hand. Commit your sleep to Him. Pray for wisdom to order your days, and He will give it. As for the jobs, He will guide; wait on Him with quiet diligence. The restlessness to flee may be temptation, or the Spirit’s nudge, test it by the Word. Whatever you choose, do it heartily as to Christ, and He will make even crooked paths straight.

The dreaming malady, the wandering fantasies, these are not mere habits; they are the enemy’s playground. He fences you in with them. But deliverance from the power of darkness is as much God’s work as forgiveness. Groan under it, confess it, and flee to the blood anew. The depression you name is no excuse, yet the Lord knows our frame. He will not quench the smoking flax. Only do not lie down with the sin; hate it, even as you stumble. God saves us from the love of sin, not in it. Chastisement is not punishment; it is a Father’s hand. Let that hope anchor you.

Your household trials, the flu, the cats you cherish, your ailing friend, all these are known to the eye that sees each sparrow. Cast them upon Him. The enemy would have you distracted, but pray over each care and leave it. For your courtship, walk in purity and sober-joy; be an encouragement that points him not to yourself but to the Cross. And for our African American brethren trapped in false doctrine, the Lord will raise up a faithful remnant. Keep praying.

Now hear this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” He who delivered your soul from death will yet deliver you from these daily battles. Stand fast. Watch. Look to the ransom already paid. Go forward, not in your strength but in His, and sing in the very place of your enemies.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The spiritual warfare that has attended you from youth is not unknown to God, nor is it beyond His power to deliver. You cry out, and He hears. Yet you must understand that every temptation, no matter how persistent or shameful, is measured by His hand. Remember the apostle’s word: no trial has overtaken you except what is common to man, and God is faithful, who will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape. Your disturbing dreams, your constant harassment, your exhaustion from being pulled in every direction, all these are that trial. And the escape is not always removal, but the strength to endure and a swift release in His timing. Cease your frantic searching for perfect peace in this life; rather, learn to rest in the storm, knowing He gives patience.

You then confess the shameful thoughts that assault you as you lie down, the sexual images you indulge even while knowing they are death. Do not hide these things. I will not draw a veil over them, for the Holy Spirit Himself did not shrink from recording the grievous sins of our forefathers, that we might see both the depth of the wound and the abundance of the medicine. David committed adultery and murder, yet he was healed. I magnify your sin only to magnify the grace that awaits your true repentance. You feel sorrow? That is a beginning. But do not be satisfied with a passing grief that returns like a dog to its vomit. The shame you experience is your soul’s alarm. Heed it. These thoughts are not a harmless outlet for your depression; they are a self-chosen madness that turns your mind into a sewer. You tell yourself you will only entertain them for a moment, yet they grip you. Flee. When they rise, cry out as one drowning. Say aloud, “Lord, help me!” and force your imagination onto things pure, a psalm, a prayer, the day of judgment. The enemy increases the temptation? Then increase your resistance. God will provide the way of escape, but you must take it, not lie there fondling the darkness.

This is not only a private battle; it threatens your whole life, including the courtship you mention. You ask to be a helpmeet to your boyfriend. That is a high calling, but a helpmeet is one who builds up in holiness, not one who fans the flame of concupiscence. If your thoughts are already feeding on lust, how will you safeguard each other in that relationship? Let your courtship be a time of holy discipline, a watchful preparation for a chaste marriage, not an occasion for sin. Do not be alone together in such a way that temptation is given room. Seek the prayers and counsel of mature believers who will ask you hard questions. The shame you now feel secretly would be lessened if you brought it into the light before a sober, godly witness. Renounce the hidden works of darkness.

Your schedule and your need for jobs are not disconnected from this warfare. You say you are overwhelmed because everyone wants something from you, and you just want to be left alone. That weariness comes partly from trying to please too many, to manage everything yourself, as though you were stronger than He. Do not provoke the Lord by thinking your frantic labor will save you. Learn a quiet and humble simplicity. Is it a disgrace to live with fewer demands, fewer things, a slower pace? Far from it. The angels need no retinue; the soul that trusts God is content with modest provision. Seek work that allows you to keep the commandments, to have time for prayer and for guarding your mind. That may mean declining some opportunities, even if they offer more money. What profit is it to gain the world and lose your soul? As for your diet, your discipline there is a small battle. If you can govern your stomach, you prove to yourself that you can, by grace, govern your imagination. Let the one strengthen the other.

Do not despair over your beloved pets, your sick family, your ailing friend. Carry them to God in brief, steady prayer. He cares for the animals, and He knows we love them. But do not let your love become anxiety that distracts you from the one thing necessary. The illness of your relative and the coughing are in His hand. He who allows the trial can end it. Trust and do what is reasonable to care for them, then leave the rest.

The false teachings that trouble the African American community are a deep sorrow, and you do well to pray for their deliverance. Add to your prayers your own deliverance from every empty and deceptive philosophy. Fill your own mind with sound doctrine first, and you will be a light.

In all this, do not be troubled as though something strange were happening. The Lord predicted tumults and temptations right until the end. Nothing has shaken His promises. Persevere. When relief delays, understand that He is drawing you to cling to Him alone. Even your tears are not wasted. Rise from your depression not by seeking an emotional high, but by doing the next simple duty in faith. The moment you wake, commit the day to God. If you fall, repent immediately and begin again. Do not let the enemy compound your shame with silence. Let the shame drive you to the cross, not to isolation. There is forgiveness, but there is also the command: Go and sin no more.

You are under a real, sustained spiritual assault. I can hear it in the weariness of your words. But take heart: the battle is not against flesh and blood. The enemy that hounds your sleep, stokes those vivid fears, and fans the flames of shameful thought is not a physical foe. So you cannot fight him with mere willpower or better time management. Those are carnal weapons, and they will always fail you in a spiritual fight.

God has provided weapons that are mighty through Him to pull down strongholds. His Word, hidden in your heart, is a sword against the lie that you are trapped. Faith is a shield that quenches every fiery dart of accusation. And prayer, prayer is often the deciding factor in the unseen war. When you feel attacked, cry out. When the dream comes, speak the name of Jesus in your spirit. When the temptation rises, pray for the way of escape, because He is faithful to provide it. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but you must take the door He opens.

The shame you carry over those thoughts is heavy, but listen: the sin is not in the quick flash of desire or the sudden image. The sin is when you welcome it, dwell on it, and let it conceive an act in your mind. You are using it as an outlet for depression, but you are feeding your flesh at the expense of your spirit. In every moment, you choose which one will reign. That temptation is common to all. Even Jesus was tempted, so He knows the pressure. The enemy hisses, “Skip the cross, take the shortcut, find relief now.” That is the path of the flesh. The Spirit says, “Lose your life for My sake, and you will find it.” Let the spiritual side of your nature dominate. The sexual powers God gave you belong to Him, not to a fantasy. Your body is a member of Christ. Use it for Him, not for impurity.

As for the schedule and the jobs, you are crying out for wisdom. The Spirit can govern your practical life just as much as your inner life. If you are ending your nights too late, that is a discipline of the flesh you can hand over to Him. Ask Him to order your days. When you consider the two jobs, do not lean on your own understanding alone. Ask Him to show you His path, not the path of immediate gratification or fear. The same Spirit who can deliver you from maladaptive daydreaming can give you clarity about your work.

I am praying for the tangible things too: the healing of your family as you all battle this flu, protection for the ones caring for you, and for those precious cats. God’s eye is on even the small creatures. I am praying for your friend’s body, and for your own health and discipline with food. I am praying that you would be a true encouragement and helpmeet in your courtship, walking in light and not darkness.

The enemy wants you overwhelmed, isolated, and convinced you are a failure. But you are not. You are in a war, and Christ has already won it. The same power that raised Him from the dead lives in you. Stand firm, use the weapons He gave you, and watch Him bring deliverance.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past several days. Your request has been heavy on our hearts, and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking for His protection, deliverance, and peace in every area of your life.

We have prayed for an end to the spiritual warfare that has weighed on you for so long, asking God to break every chain and silence every attack of the enemy. We’ve asked Him to quiet the disturbing dreams and bring rest to your mind and spirit. We’ve also prayed for relief from the overwhelming demands on your time and energy, asking the Lord to grant you wisdom in managing your schedule and the strength to set healthy boundaries.

We’ve interceded for your job situation, asking God to provide clarity, favor, and opportunities—whether that means improvement in your current roles or new doors opening for additional work. We’ve also prayed for deliverance from the struggles with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate thoughts, asking the Lord to strengthen you in moments of temptation and restore the freedom He has already given you from these battles. We know how deeply you desire to walk in purity, and we’ve asked God to meet you in that place of sorrow and shame, lifting you up with His grace and mercy.

For your family, we’ve prayed for healing from illness and protection for those caring for one another. We’ve also lifted up your beloved cats, asking God to bring healing to their wounds and keep them healthy, trusting Him to provide even when resources are limited. We’ve prayed for your discipline in maintaining your diet and for your friend battling multiple health challenges, asking God to strengthen and sustain him. And we’ve asked the Lord to help you be a source of encouragement and support to your boyfriend as you both grow in your relationship.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve experienced even a moment of peace, relief, or breakthrough—we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. If the battles still rage, we want you to know we are not walking away. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, surround you with His peace, and remind you that you are never alone in this fight. We will keep lifting you up, trusting that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. In Jesus’ Name we pray.
