Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. PLEASE. THIS WARFARE IS RIDICULOUS AND SO NONSENSICAL AND MY LIFE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMED AND RUN BY IT FOR SO LONG. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of spiritual warfare that has tormented you since leaving the new age. The enemy has no right to harass you, you belong to the Lord, and His blood has already secured your victory. We rebuke every demonic assignment, every evil plot, and every ungodly soul tied to this oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). You are not powerless; you are a child of the Most High, and the forces of darkness must bow to the name of Jesus.

We pray specifically for the removal of those who have been used as instruments of harassment against you. Whether through ignorance, deception, or outright possession, these individuals have aligned themselves with darkness, and their actions are an abomination before God. The Lord sees their wickedness and will not allow it to continue unchecked. "The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot" (Psalm 11:5-6 WEB). We ask the Lord to expose their schemes, frustrate their plans, and remove them from your life permanently. If they refuse to repent, may the Lord deal with them according to His justice. We also pray for their salvation, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel before it is too late.

Regarding your job, we understand the weight of your conviction and the burden of financial provision. The Lord is your Provider, and He will not abandon you. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). We pray that if it is His will for you to leave this job, He would open a door to new employment that aligns with your values and provides for your family. If He calls you to stay, may He intervene to change the predatory practices and restore integrity to the workplace. Either way, we trust that He will guide your steps and sustain you. We also lift up your coworkers, asking the Lord to soften their hearts and bring healing to any brokenness or conflict among you.

As for your piano teacher, we acknowledge the grief of ending the relationship, especially when there was once trust and shared faith. The enemy loves to sow discord and confusion, even among believers, but the Lord is greater. We pray for her, for wisdom, healing, and clarity. If her actions were influenced by spiritual warfare, may the Lord break those chains. If her behavior stemmed from deeper issues, may she receive the help and care she needs. We also pray for your peace in this decision, knowing you acted in wisdom and discernment. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

Above all, we pray for your protection and renewal. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but the Lord is your refuge. "You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance" (Psalm 32:7 WEB). We declare that the spiritual warfare against you will cease, that every demonic stronghold will be demolished, and that you will walk in the freedom Christ died to give you. Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and do not grow weary in doing good. The battle is already won, you need only to walk in the victory.

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the Name above every name. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area of their life. Break the chains of spiritual oppression, remove every ungodly influence, and restore what the enemy has stolen. Provide for their needs, surround them with godly community, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke every demonic assignment and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and power, knowing that You are their Defender and Deliverer. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how exhausted and on edge you are, the kind of weariness that comes from feeling like you’ve been under siege for years, not just days. Leaving the New Age was a decisive step toward Christ, and we believe that step mattered deeply, even when the warfare that followed has felt relentless and absurd. What you described about this weekend is adding a fresh layer of dread, and we want you to know we’re taking that seriously with you.

The Scriptures remind us that the Holy Spirit is our helper and advocate. You don’t have to sort through every threat or figure out exactly what is happening in the spiritual realm around you, that burden belongs to God, not to you. Your role right now is simpler: to rest your frayed nerves in the One who sees it all and who has authority over every dark thing. Practically, we’d encourage you not to face this weekend’s anxiety alone. Is there a trusted, spiritually mature friend or pastor you can tell, briefly, what you’re expecting? Not someone who will argue with you about it, but someone who will simply be present, maybe even check in on you or pray with you by phone. Isolation magnifies fear, and simple companionship can break the spiral.

For the job, it sounds like you already know you can’t participate in practices that violate your conscience. That clarity is a gift, even when it comes with financial worry. A concrete step could be to quietly refresh your resume this week and begin reaching out to one or two contacts, just exploring, without adding pressure to have all the answers yet. You’re not walking away into a void, God knows your family’s needs and your desire for honorable work. And with the piano teacher, it sounds to us like ending the lessons was not a failure but a hard, wise choice to protect your peace. That took courage.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one who is bone-tired and hunted. You see the specific plan that is meant for harm this weekend, we ask You to foil it completely. Confuse the efforts of those who harass her, and in Your timing, remove them from her life so thoroughly that she can breathe again. Give her steady, clear direction about her work, and provide a job where she can serve honestly. Comfort her in the loss of the piano relationship, and let her feel Your nearness more than any human threat. Bring her strong, wise believers to walk alongside her. We ask all this in Your mighty name, Amen.

The battle is fierce because the enemy rages against those who have fled his darkness into the marvelous light of Christ. When you left the new age and its witchcraft, you crossed the border out of Satan’s territory, and the dogs of hell howl because their prey has escaped. Yet hear this: deliverance is of the Lord, and He who brought you forth will surely bring you through. The arrow of the enemy may fly by day and the terror by night, but the Lord has found a ransom for you, the precious blood of His own Son. That ransom has broken every chain, and the foe has no lawful claim upon you now. The clock of mercy has struck the hour of your deliverance; the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it, and not all the demons in the pit can reverse it.

You cry out that this warfare is nonsensical and overwhelming, that persons have been used as instruments of harassment for years. Remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok, trembling and full of fear, crying out for deliverance from the hand of his brother Esau. He crossed over expecting wrath, but God had gone before him, and Esau fell upon his neck and kissed him. The Lord knows how to turn the hearts of those who pursue you, or how to remove them utterly as He did with Pharaoh’s hosts in the Red Sea. Pray, yes, but rest your soul upon Him. He has not forsaken those who seek Him. As for this person you describe, whose presence feels like the very devil, the Lord sees all their schemes, and He laughs. This weekend’s planned evil is not hidden from His eye. He will foil the design of the wicked, for the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance flies straight and true. Trust Him implicitly. Even the wrath of man shall praise Him, and the remainder He will restrain.

Your concerns about livelihood and the new employment are heavy upon your heart. The Lord who parted the sea can open a door for honest labor that will not vex your conscience. If predatory practices mar the company, your spirit’s unease is the inward witness that you must walk uprightly. Yet do not rush ahead in panic. The manager’s understanding may be a token for good. Lay the matter before the throne daily, and say, “Lord, if I stay, mend every concern; if I go, lead me to new work.” He who brought Israel forth laden with silver and gold from Egypt will provide for your family’s need. The way may be hidden now, but faith looks over the intervening darkness and comforts itself with what is yet to come. Often the death of a comfort is the birth of a greater mercy.

The severing of the piano lessons is another cord cut in this pilgrimage. You saw what you saw; the discomfort and confusion were not without cause. When spiritual warfare uses even professing believers to do unusual harm, wisdom must guide the feet. Do not let regret eat at your peace. If the teacher’s own mind is clouded by age or ailment, pray for her, but do not set your own soul in harm’s way for mere sentiment. The Lord has brought you forth from the snare; do not look back toward Sodom. Let this ending be a fresh beginning of consecration. Even these trials shall become material for a new song of deliverance.

The chief weapon against these assaults is declaration. Say with the Psalmist, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Open your mouth in praise; let the new song be in your throat. Where the carnal sense sees only straits attending and wonders where the scene will end, lift your eyes to the turrets of the New Jerusalem. Your deliverance from the power of darkness is not partial, it is complete in the purpose of God. He is sanctifying you through these very fires. That harassing person’s apparent immunity from consequence is an illusion; the Judge of all the earth will do right. In the meantime, your own escape from the pit of destruction is the banner you must wave. You were going down to the pit, and He found a ransom. Now, live in the boldness of that grace.

Go forward, then, with your heart fixed. Ship no anchor to drift with the current of this age. When the people are gathered together and the kingdoms serve the Lord, this season of conflict will be remembered as the forge where your faith was tempered. The Lord grant you the deliverance you seek, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The warfare you describe is indeed ridiculous and nonsensical, for the devil is a fugitive and his weapons are his own, filled with venom and poison, not from the Scriptures but from his own stores. He attacks with cruelty and confusion, seeking to overwhelm you now that you have fled the new age and witchcraft and returned to Christ. But take courage: Christ does not promise deliverance from every trial, but grants something far greater, the power to despise these assaults. That permission to suffer is a higher gift than immediate removal, for it sets you above the fear of the enemy, fixing your soul on the immortality to come. Do not marvel that the warfare intensifies after your escape; the devil assails most boldly when he sees a soul left alone, as he did with the first woman in the garden, hoping to find weakness. Therefore, flock together continually with the faithful. A house established by almsgiving and prayer suffers no lasting calamity; if it is shaken for a time, in the end it prospers.

Those individuals who harass you, moved by demonic influence, have brought upon themselves a self-chosen madness, making their mouths and eyes mere sewers of filth. You ask for their removal, and it is right to pray so, but remember how the saints warred: not by calling down fire or inflicting wounds, but by suffering for Christ. They were reviled and reviled not, beaten and beat not. The victory over the devil lies in refusing to do his will, in not returning evil for evil. When you stand firm and silent, you stop his mouth, and he who seemed so bold is put to flight. That person whose presence feels like the literal devil is indeed a vessel of the enemy, but the Lord knows how to rebuke him. Contend not with railing accusations, but say with the Archangel, The Lord rebuke thee. Then wait on God’s timing. He hedged Job about, and though trials came, Job’s substance was doubled and his crown made glorious through steadfastness.

Concerning your work, you have acted rightly by voicing your conscience. To be unable to aid others in their need, or to be part of predatory practices, makes one liable to punishment. If you remain, pray that God mends the concerns, for He can turn even crooked paths straight. If you must leave, trust that the same Lord who cares for the sparrows will open a door of provision for your family. Labor and anxiety are heavy, but night and day praying with urgency, as the Apostle did for those he loved, will bring peace and direction. Do not let the burnout quench your hope; the soul that withdraws from worldly tumults into the quiet of prayer finds a calm and waveless harbor.

The decision to end your piano lessons, though sorrowful, was needful if the teacher’s conduct, whether from spiritual warfare, illness, or confusion, continued to wound your spirit. True love sometimes requires separation to protect the soul. Do not judge her harshly, but commit her to God in supplication. The harlots and publicans went before the self-righteous because they repented and changed; pray that any who trouble you may likewise turn, but do not let the scandal of their behavior become a snare of bitterness for you. Beware judging the outward accident rather than the inner crime. You have been delivered from the curse of the Law and brought into sonship through Christ, receiving the Spirit of adoption. That identity no demon can touch. Stand firm in prayer, in solitude with God, especially in the night watches, and He will either remove the trial or grant such endurance that its sting becomes nothing. Keep your labor in the common good, contribute what you have, whether protection, money, or teaching, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

The weight of what you are carrying is real, and the warfare you describe is not imaginary. When a person leaves the darkness of the occult and runs to Christ, the enemy does not let go quietly. The demonic realm is furious, and you are feeling that fury. But take heart: the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. The same Jesus who cast out screaming, defiant spirits with a word now lives in you by His Spirit. Darkness cannot remain where His light has taken residence.

You have asked for relief from those who harass you. It is a right cry, and God hears it. The psalmist cried out, “Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” He felt surrounded, forgotten, bowed down to the dust. Yet his prayer did not end there. He called on God to send out light and truth to lead him. That is the key. I am not merely asking God to remove these destructive influences from your life; I am asking Him to pour in so much of His presence that whatever is not of Him must flee. When the power of Christ enters, deliverance is the natural result. A house swept clean but left empty invites worse trouble, so I pray that every corner of your heart, your home, and your circumstances will be filled with the fullness of God.

The plans set against you this weekend will not succeed. The enemy may roar, but God has already set a seal on those who belong to Him. Just as the demonic locusts in Revelation were restricted to harm only those without God’s seal, so the Lord knows how to shield His own. The Father laughs at the schemes of lesser powers, and He can frustrate the devices of the crafty in a moment. I am asking Him to expose every scheme, to silence every lying voice, and to permanently sever the influence of those who have made themselves instruments of spiritual poison. People can, indeed, become conduits for demonic activity without even realizing it, and your description of feeling as though you are in the presence of the devil himself rings familiar. The enemy exploits broken minds, occult entanglements, and unbelief. You do not wrestle against flesh and blood. But the victory belongs to Christ.

Regarding your work, I hear the tension. You cannot participate in predatory practices, and your conscience is a gift that keeps you walking in integrity. I pray for wisdom: if staying would compromise your soul or burn you out, God may open another door. Financial pressure weighs heavy on the mind, yet remember that God’s provision is not limited by a paycheck. The churches of Macedonia gave out of deep poverty and yet experienced overflowing joy because they trusted the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. I ask the Lord to lead you to work that both provides and permits you to sleep peacefully at night. If He keeps you in this place, I pray He mends the ethical conflicts, perhaps using you as a quiet voice of truth among your coworkers.

The ending with your piano teacher is painful but necessary. Spiritual warfare can touch even well-meaning believers, and unusual behavior, whether from natural decline or darker influence, can harm. You did right to step away from what was causing you distress. I pray for her, that any confusion or oppression would be lifted, and that she would receive whatever help she needs. But your responsibility is to walk in peace, not to remain in a place of harm out of guilt.

You are not alone. The Lord has not cast you off, and He is not deaf to your cry. Arise for our help and redeem us for Your mercy’s sake. That ancient plea still reaches the throne, and it will be answered. I stand with you in prayer.
