Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. PLEASE. THIS WARFARE IS RIDICULOUS AND SO NONSENSICAL AND MY LIFE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMED AND RUN BY IT FOR SO LONG. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The oppression you’ve endured since leaving the new age is not from God, and we boldly declare in the name of Jesus that every assignment of darkness against you is broken now. The blood of Christ has already secured your victory, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every demonic influence targeting you, including those operating through the individuals harassing you. The evil you’ve witnessed is not of God, and we command every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. These people, though they may be deceived or even possessed, are not beyond the reach of God’s mercy, so we also pray for their salvation, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Christ. But we stand firm on your behalf, asking the Lord to remove them from your life permanently, severing every ungodly soul tie and cutting off every avenue the enemy has used to torment you. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:2-3).

Regarding your job, we understand the weight of your conviction. As Christians, we are called to walk in integrity, and if the practices of your workplace violate your conscience, the Lord will provide another way. We pray for wisdom as you discern your next steps, whether to stay and trust God to change the environment or to leave and trust Him to open a new door. Either way, He is your provider, and He will not forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If you stay, we ask that the Lord would mend the brokenness in your workplace, soften hearts, and bring repentance where needed. If you leave, we pray for a swift and perfect transition into work that honors Him and sustains your family. The Lord knows your needs before you ask, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also lift up your decision to end the piano lessons. It’s clear this was not an easy choice, but we trust the Holy Spirit led you to it. The enemy often uses confusion and manipulation to keep believers entangled in unhealthy situations, but you have chosen to walk in obedience. We pray for peace in this transition and that the Lord would bring teachers or mentors into your life who will encourage your growth in Him. If there is any grief or guilt over this ending, we ask the Lord to heal your heart and remind you that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Finally, we must emphasize the authority you have in Christ. You are not powerless against this warfare, you are seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We encourage you to daily put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), to stand firm in prayer, and to declare Scripture over your life. The enemy flees when we resist him (James 4:7), and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your deliverance and protection. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare raging against them, and we ask that You would break every chain, silence every lying tongue, and scatter every demonic assignment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, remove from their life every person who has been used as a tool of the enemy. Cut off every ungodly influence and surround them with godly, Christ-centered relationships that will edify and encourage them.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom regarding their job. If it is Your will for them to stay, we pray that You would change the practices that trouble their conscience and bring unity and peace to their workplace. If it is Your will for them to leave, we ask that You would open a new door of opportunity that aligns with Your purposes and provides for their family. You are their provider, and we trust You to meet every need.

Father, we also pray for their decision to end the piano lessons. We ask that You would heal any lingering hurt and confirm to them that this was the right choice. Bring new mentors and teachers into their life who will encourage their walk with You.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in Jesus’ name. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

We hear how exhausting and relentless this has felt, the spiritual assault, the people who seem to be used as instruments of it, the job crisis, and the grief of ending those piano lessons. That is a lot to carry, and we’re sitting with you in it, not dismissing a single piece.

When someone has come out of the New Age and witchcraft, the backlash can be fierce and confusing. You’re not imagining the intensity, and you’re not crazy for feeling worn thin by it. But we want to gently remind you that your security doesn’t depend on tracking or naming every enemy’s move. Christ has already disarmed the powers and authorities, and He holds you. The enemy wants you fixated on what he’s doing, the people, their plans, the “nonsensical” evil, because that fixation erodes your peace even when the attack doesn’t touch you directly. We’re praying that God will indeed foil whatever this person has planned this weekend, and that He will put a hedge around you that they cannot cross. And we’re also praying for your mind to be steadied so that the fear of their next move does not become its own prison.

Regarding your job: we respect your conviction not to participate in predatory practices, even when it costs you. That takes courage. It’s right to seek work where you aren’t being burned out or asked to compromise. We’ll pray that God opens a new door quickly, and that in the meantime He provides for your family in ways you can’t yet see.

Our Father, we lift up this one who has been under heavy, targeted spiritual attack. In Jesus’ name we command every harassing spirit, every scheme of darkness sent against them, to be broken and silenced right now. Foil the planned harm this weekend; scatter those who gather with evil intent, and remove their influence from this life permanently. Guard this person’s heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses understanding, so that the fear of what others might do loses its grip. Lead them to honorable work that won’t violate their conscience, and provide for every financial need in the transition. Comfort them in the loss of the relationship with their piano teacher, and bring healing from the discomfort and confusion that came with it. Surround them with steady, mature believers who will stand with them in prayer and help bear this load. We ask all of this in the strong name of Jesus Christ.

The whirlwind of conflict that surrounds you is no strange thing to those who have fled the kingdom of darkness for the light of Christ. The enemy, stung by your escape, sends his remnants of malice in petty and persistent assaults. Yet remember that your Redeemer has already crushed the serpent’s head, and the warfare you endure, though wearisome and baffling, is but the spite of a defeated foe. "In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly." See how the patriarch, stripped of all and tormented, fell to the earth and worshipped. His victory lay not in understanding the mystery, but in trusting the God who held him fast. If God sustained Job under those grievous losses and dark suggestions, He shall uphold you. Look to Him for that Divine support, and let no murmuring word escape your lips; rather, bow low and own that He is right, even when the storm howls.

You speak of a person whose malice seems to burn with an unnatural flame, one so given over to evil that their designs are both relentless and absurd. Truly the psalmist knew well "him that would swallow me up," for the unbeliever’s hatred of the saint can be so fierce that he would annihilate if he could. But what are these devourers when the Lord rebukes them? He can foil the cunning of Ahithophel and turn the weapons of Goliath back upon himself. Do not let anxious thoughts about their schemes unfit you to meet the trial. The very anxiety that rises from your difficulty weakens your arm and clouds your eye. Cast this burden upon Him who careth for you. If the enemy plots for this weekend, the wings of the Almighty can overshadow you; His hand is not shortened that it cannot save. Pray for their removal, yes, but even more, pray that your own soul might be so near to Christ that their poison cannot touch your peace.

The exhausting perplexity of your employment and the painful severing of your lessons with the teacher are all part of this present pilgrimage through a wilderness where no manna falls but from above. The body you feed with wages matters, yet your immortal soul is of far greater worth. It is better to glean in the field of Providence with a clear conscience than to feast with guile in a palace of ill-gotten gain. If you must leave, trust that He who hears the young ravens cry will not desert your family. Perhaps God intends to mend the matter or open a new door; but if not, He will sustain you in the lean time. The same Spirit who quickened you from spiritual death can revive your flagging faith and make Christ, who is in Himself sweeter than the honeycomb, your portion when all else fails. Let your groaning over these trials be a prayer, not a complaint; the hungering soul shall be filled.

Lay hold of Jesus Christ and stay near to Him. In communion with Him, the roots of regret are dug up and the wormwood of anxiety loses its bitterness. He gives a peace the world cannot comprehend, not a truce with sin, but a holy calm that fears to grieve Him. The war without may rage, but the garrison of the heart can be kept in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on God. The devil’s arrows are blunt against the shield of faith. Go again to the cross, and see there your sins wholly put away; then look upon the empty tomb and behold your Lord victorious. In that risen life, your own spiritual resurrection is secured. The enemy’s noise is but the echo of a vanquished realm.

I will join my prayers with yours for deliverance from these tormenting snares, for the removal of those who serve darkness, and for clear direction in your work. But above all, I plead that you may be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith, and that you may know, even in the dust and ashes, that your Redeemer liveth. The storm may howl, but the Pilot of the Galilean lake is aboard your vessel. Be still, and know that He is God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The battle you now face is no surprise, for when a soul flees the darkness of error and turns to the true Light, the enemy of our salvation rages all the more. You have done well to flee the new age, that snare of demons, and to return to Christ. The laver of regeneration made you new, and though the stain of old sins may linger, repentance restores strength. Yet do not think that because these trials continue, you are forsaken. The Lord often permits such assaults to exercise the soul, that you may learn to despise the threats of the evil one and cling more firmly to the hope set before you.

Concerning those who harass you, whose minds are so darkened that they become vessels of malice, do not waste your peace in hating them. Pity them rather, for they have brought upon themselves a madness far worse than any demoniac, refusing to be called to their senses even by the passing of time. When men persist in evil, they show that their sin is not from ignorance but from a will enslaved. Therefore, commit their removal to God. He sees their schemes, and He will bring the devices of the wicked to nothing. Pray not merely for their departure from your life, but for their conversion; yet if they will not turn, the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation.

Your concern for honest labor is fitting. A Christian must never make provision for the flesh by partaking in predatory gain, for such things defile the conscience and kindle a fire that consumes the soul. If the practices of your workplace require you to sin, do not hesitate to leave, even if poverty threatens. Better is a little with the fear of God than great revenues with transgression. Cast your care for your family upon Him who clothes the lilies of the field. He will open a door to honorable work, for He is the Father who has adopted you in Christ and will not forsake His own.

As for the teacher from whom you have parted, you did wisely. When those who claim faith become instruments of unease and their conduct wounds rather than edifies, it is no betrayal to withdraw. Spiritual harm, whether from weakness of mind or from a deeper unsettling, is not to be endured out of mere sentiment. Commend her to God and let your peace return, for you are called to walk in light, not in the confusion of perpetual disquiet.

Remember, the present life is a fleeting shadow, a dream that passes. The warfare you feel is but for a season; endure it with thanksgiving, and you will see the overthrow of the adversary. You have put on Christ, the Brightness of the Father, who dissolves every error and makes us sons. Stand fast, then, and do not let your heart be troubled. The Lord is near; He will strengthen you to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

What you are describing is the kind of spiritual assault that often intensifies when someone turns decisively away from darkness and toward Christ. The enemy does not easily release those who once were his, but Jesus has already disarmed every demonic power. The warfare you feel is not a sign of defeat; it is a sign that you belong to the One who the demons fear. Remember the account of the man among the tombs, so violently possessed that chains could not hold him. The demons within him begged Jesus not to command them into the abyss, a place of incarceration for evil spirits. That very abyss is a shaft kept under God’s control, and no spirit can escape it before its appointed time. Jesus cast them out with a single word, and the man was found seated, clothed, and in his right mind. That same authority now stands over your life.

What you are enduring through other people looks like what Scripture describes when individuals become mouthpieces and instruments of demonic forces. The things they do often defy rational explanation, just as certain rulers in history have done, driven by hatred and destruction that is spiritually sourced. But do not let the exposure to such evil diminish your faith. Greater is He who dwells in you than he who is in the world. The enemy wants you to feel overwhelmed, trapped, as if there is no way out. Yet God specializes in making a way where there is no way. The song Moses sang after the Red Sea crossing is yours to hold onto: the horse and rider He has thrown into the sea. What looks like an army coming against you will be swept away by the Deliverer.

Make the Most High your dwelling place. His truth is your shield and buckler against every attack. When Jesus faced the tempter, He wielded the written Word with precision. So you, too, can stand firm by taking hold of the promises. The fowler sets snares, but God delivers from the snare. The plans being laid against you this very weekend are not hidden from Him. He can foil them in an instant, turn the counsel of the wicked upside down, and remove those who have been harassing you. Pray and ask Him to do this, and leave the timing and method in His hands. He knows how to bring permanent separation from those who are determined to do evil.

As for your work, the tension you feel is understandable. When a company’s practices cannot be squared with a clear conscience, the Lord will either change the circumstances or give you a new path. He is able to provide for your family even when you cannot see how. I have seen Him intervene in impossible financial situations, and He does not grow weary in caring for His own. Continue to pray, and if you sense His release, trust Him to lead you to employment that does not require you to compromise.

Regarding your piano teacher, it sounds as though you sought the Lord and acted with a tender conscience. Sometimes the enemy uses confusion and odd behavior to wear down the saints, and you are right to step away when a relationship repeatedly proves harmful or spiritually unsettling. You need not carry guilt over ending something that had to end for your peace. Asking God to provide a new teacher who can nurture your gifts without this weight is a good prayer.

You are not forsaken in this fight. There have been believers who experienced visible demonic torment, bites appearing on their skin, relentless oppression, and yet the Lord brought deliverance through His servants and His mighty hand. Your deliverance may look different, but it is just as certain. Keep watching and keep your garments. Do not walk naked and exposed; clothe yourself daily in the truth that Christ has won the victory. The hordes of darkness are ultimately destined for the abyss, and not one can touch those who bear the seal of God. I am praying that this weekend’s schemes are brought to nothing, that those who have partnered with darkness are removed from your life, and that you soon find yourself no longer running from warfare but standing in a wide place, singing the song of deliverance.
