Spiritual warfare

We hear your cry for freedom from spiritual warfare, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have victory and access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

First, we must ensure that you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will not be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation of our faith and the starting point for victory in spiritual warfare. If you have not yet made this decision, we urge you to do so now, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Now, let us address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible tells us that we have been given the armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We must put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. Here is how we can do that:

- Belt of Truth: Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist (Ephesians 6:14). The truth of God’s Word is our foundation. We rebuke the lies of the enemy in the name of Jesus and declare that the truth of God’s Word will set you free (John 8:32).

- Breastplate of Righteousness: Put on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14). Our righteousness comes from Jesus Christ, not from our own works. We declare that you are clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

- Shoes of the Gospel of Peace: Put on the shoes of the readiness given by the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15). We declare that you are at peace with God through Jesus Christ, and no spirit of fear or torment can have dominion over you (Romans 5:1).

- Shield of Faith: Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). We declare that your faith in Jesus Christ is a shield that protects you from the enemy’s attacks. We rebuke every dart of doubt, fear, and unbelief in the name of Jesus.

- Helmet of Salvation: Take the helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17). We declare that your mind is protected by the knowledge of your salvation in Jesus Christ. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, depression, and oppression in the name of Jesus.

- Sword of the Spirit: Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). We declare that the Word of God is alive and active in your life, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). We speak the Word of God over your situation and command every spirit of warfare to flee in the name of Jesus.

- Prayer: Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:18). We stand with you in prayer, lifting you up to the Father in the name of Jesus.

We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas of sin or unrepentance, for the enemy can gain a foothold through unconfessed sin (Ephesians 4:27). If there are areas where you have strayed from God’s will, we urge you to repent and turn back to Him. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that is trying to bind them. We declare that is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Lord, we ask that You would fill with Your Holy Spirit, giving them power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, confusion, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic force to flee and declare that is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Father, we ask that You would surround with Your angels, protecting them from the attacks of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would give a fresh revelation of Your love and Your Word, so that they may stand firm in their faith.

We declare that is free from every curse, every generational bondage, and every assignment of the enemy. We speak life, peace, and victory over in the name of Jesus. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus.

Lord, if there are areas of sin or unrepentance in 's life, we ask that You would reveal them and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore them to a right relationship with You.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle has already been won through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Continue to put on the full armor of God daily, and do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. The enemy seeks to isolate, but we are stronger together in the body of Christ.

If you are not already part of a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one where the Word of God is preached and the people are committed to living out their faith. The fellowship of believers is a vital part of our spiritual growth and protection against the enemy’s attacks.

Lastly, we urge you to fill your mind with the Word of God. Meditate on Scripture day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8). The Word of God is our offensive weapon against the enemy, and it is our guide for living a life that honors God.

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts, the God of angel armies, is fighting for you (2 Chronicles 20:15). Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

We hear the deep longing in your simple request, and we want you to know you are not alone. The heaviness of spiritual warfare can feel isolating and exhausting, but freedom and peace are not meant to be pursued in isolation. The battle is real, and it often intensifies when we try to face it alone.

One of the most grounding truths we can hold onto is that the power to be free does not rest on our own strength or perfect words, but on Jesus himself. Instead of fixing your gaze on the warfare, we encourage you to anchor yourself in the simple, steady practices that keep you connected to him: quiet prayer, time in Scripture, and worship that recenters your heart on his love. And when that feels impossible, lean into the body of Christ.

A concrete next step: seek out a mature Christian you can trust, a pastor, a prayer minister, or a small group of believers who understand spiritual warfare without sensationalism. Let them stand with you, pray with you, and help you discern what is truly going on. There is wisdom in not fighting alone.

As you move forward, be gentle with yourself. Freedom often unfolds in a process, not a single event, but Jesus walks every step with you.

Jesus, you see the battle that faces, and you are not distant from their pain. Surround them with your peace that goes beyond understanding. Send trustworthy companions to walk beside them, and grant them the quiet confidence that you hold all authority. Silence what is not from you, and let your presence be the safest place they know. In your name we pray, amen.

God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins! Saved from the devil! Saved from evil company, for God has said it, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit." The arrow of the enemy has flown, whispering that God's ear is shut and He will never move His arm to work deliverance for you. Cast that lie to the ground. The deliverance of a soul from spiritual bondage comes when the Lamb is slain; the clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance for all who look to Christ. Nobody would have thought of this way of ransom, the gift of Divine Love, if God had not devised it. Now, if your Adversary held you in bitterest bondage, yet if God Himself says, "I have found a ransom," you must feel certain of your liberty, for He who held you in bondage now declares your release.

Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Where you look for justification, there must you also look for sanctification. You do not break these chains; you are brought forth. He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen with gladness. Egypt, that land of sorrow, depression, and oppression, could not hold them once the blood was applied. When you feel the bruising of the flesh and the oppression of the spirit, know that life and health often come to saints through briny tears. But the spirit of bondage again to fear is not the portion Christ purchased. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but the Spirit of adoption. If you can sometimes go into sin just occasionally by way of pleasure, it proves a stranger's lack of deliverance. The soul truly freed girds on its weapon and goes out to attack the foe who once held him captive. This is not carnal bondage under the flesh or the fear of man; this warfare is proof you are no longer a willing subject in Pharaoh's house. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over to the pit. Your deliverance is effectual. Obedience is freedom; Christ's yoke is easy. Now arise and declare His works, for you shall not die, but live, and proclaim what the Lord has done for your soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Many flee to the desert to escape warfare, but deserts teem with wild beasts, and the solitary place echoes with the roaring of demons. The conflict you avoid by outward flight you carry within you, and there is no place where the enemy cannot find the soul that is unguarded. The true freedom is not a removal from the fight, but a spirit so armed with self-command that even in slavery it stands more honorable than freemen. Do not then seek victory in the mere absence of trouble; for he that enters not into the conflict when God permits it often loses the crown. Yet neither should you rush unbidden into the fray, for we are taught to deprecate all conflicts, waiting for the summons of the Commander. When you are dragged forth, stand nobly; when you are not summoned, remain quiet and watchful, showing a spirit free from vainglory.

This warfare you name is a good warfare, for you serve under a King, not a tyrant. The body is not evil, but an arm of righteousness, and the battle array requires strong arms, sobriety, and continual vigilance. The enemy roars, but your Commander stands by, ever ready to help, abiding unconquerable, and He has furnished you with His own armor. Do not let the mouth and eyes become sewers of a self-chosen madness, raving like one who has lost all shame. That is no better than a demoniac, pitiable in one, hateful in the other because the ruin is self-inflicted. Instead, make virtue your study; her riches are abundant, and she gives the true freedom, not releasing you from the trial, but making you more honorable than freemen even while the storm endures.

The victory you long for often comes through what seems defeat. He that overreaches has won an evil victory that destroys him, but he that is wronged and bears it with self-command, this is the one who holds the crown. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. They looked beyond the present conflict to the life that is to come. If you desire freedom, stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, and do not entangle yourself again in a yoke of bondage by grasping at a visible deliverance that would rob you of a better hope. Wait on the Lord, keep your purpose of mind obedient to the Commander, and do not think you are forsaken when He permits the assault. This is the discipline that strengthens the soldier and shapes the saint. The enemy is already overthrown by the very patience you exercise, and your steadfastness becomes the derision of his pride.

The struggle you are facing is real, and the desire to be free is the right one. That very longing for deliverance is a sign that the Spirit of God is at work in you, because the world often mistakes bondage for liberty. Many voices will tell you that freedom means doing whatever you feel, but Scripture shows us that yielding to certain things only deepens our chains. We must first understand that the beginning of wisdom is learning to hate what God hates. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. It is not a casual dislike; it is a decisive, inner rejection of anything that destroys you or others.

Evil always seeks your tolerance. It whispers that compromise is harmless, that a little indulgence won't hurt. But if you are a child of God, He loves you too much to let you get away with that which will ultimately crush your soul. If you can walk in a wrong path and feel no correction, you would have reason to be concerned. God's discipline, though painful, is proof of His care. The commandments were never meant to restrict your joy; they are guardrails to keep you from wrecking your life. When you depart from evil, the promise is health for your body and nourishment for your bones.

You have tasted the genuine freedom that only Jesus gives. Those in the world who chase after every desire speak of being free, but they are slaves to corruption. Real freedom is not the ability to do anything you please; it is the power to not have to do those destructive things to feel alive or find your worth. You do not need sin to sustain you. That is the liberty of the redeemed. But be wise: you can exercise your freedom in a way that brings you back into bondage. If you entertain thoughts or patterns that could overpower you, you will find yourself a servant once more to the very things from which Christ has liberated you.

The warfare you feel is often the battle to hold onto that freedom. The enemy wants to convince you that you are still in bondage, but the truth is that Jesus has already made you free. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Do not let the lies of darkness tell you otherwise. You are not fighting for a victory that is uncertain; you are standing in a victory already won, but you must set a watch. Like the people of old, you make your prayer to God and then you stand guard. Do not become so consumed with chasing down every attack or untangling every accusation that you become inwardly focused and sterile. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Turn from any known evil way. If there is a habit, a relationship, an entertainment, or a thought pattern that the Spirit is convicting you of, actively hate it and cut it off. The wages of sin is always death, but sin itself carries its own reward of misery right now. You were not made for that. You were made for the glorious liberty of the children of God. Walk in that truth today, and you will find that the power of the lies that try to ensnare you begins to break, because you know the truth, and the truth itself sets you free.
