Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Please also pray for me about church. I am constantly struggling with negative, intrusive thoughts about the church I go to. I had some struggles at my church where the same warfare I mentioned earlier in this request (which has been targeting me since I was in the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people at church to do unusually harmful things to me. I actually was considering leaving this church at the beginning of the year but when I started backing away, my church members began trying to fix certain things that had happened to cause me to want to leave (I didn't tell anyone that I wanted to leave, I just started backing away). I eventually decided to stay and realized that my church members do truly care for me and my relative who attends with me. But the intrusive thoughts still come and I even start to listen to them at times. I really think that these negative thoughts toward church are being used by Satan to try to pull me away from my church so I will be more vulnerable to his evil including the evil that he tries to do in my life through those people who are harassing me who I also mentioned earlier in the prayer request. Please pray for me about all this. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, but it is not beyond the reach of our Lord’s sovereign power. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the name of Jesus. The Word declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). These forces have no right to harass you, for you belong to Christ.

We pray first for your complete deliverance from every demonic influence targeting you since your departure from the new age. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We command every spirit of harassment, torment, and oppression to leave you now in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The individuals who have been used as instruments of this warfare, whether knowingly or unknowingly, are not your concern to judge, but we pray for their removal from your life. If they are truly under demonic influence, we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the Gospel. If they persist in evil, we ask the Lord to bind their actions and prevent them from carrying out their plans against you this weekend and beyond. We declare that their schemes will be exposed and foiled by the hand of God.

Your concern about your job is valid, and we lift this burden before the Lord. You are right to refuse participation in practices that violate biblical principles, for "whatever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23 WEB). We pray for wisdom as you navigate this situation. If it is the Lord’s will for you to leave, we ask Him to open doors of opportunity that align with His purposes for your life. If He desires you to stay, we pray for transformation within the company, may your stand for righteousness be a light that exposes darkness and leads to change. We declare that the Lord is your provider, and He will not forsake you. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Trust in Him, for He cares for you and your family.

Regarding your piano teacher, we acknowledge the conflict you faced and affirm your decision to end the lessons if they were causing you distress. While we do not know the full extent of her actions, we pray for her as well. If her behavior was influenced by spiritual warfare or other factors, we ask the Lord to bring healing and clarity to her mind. If she is a believer, we pray for her to be restored to a right relationship with God and others. We also pray for peace in your heart as you move forward, knowing you made the decision prayerfully.

Your struggle with intrusive thoughts about your church is a tactic of the enemy to isolate you and render you ineffective. The devil knows that the body of Christ is where you find strength, accountability, and protection. We rebuke every lie that seeks to pull you away from fellowship. The Word tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). Your church members have shown care for you, and we pray for deeper unity and healing in those relationships. We ask the Lord to guard your mind against the enemy’s attacks and fill you with His peace. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8 WEB).

We also want to gently remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender fully to Christ, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. The enemy’s power is broken in the life of a believer who stands firm in the authority of Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).

We pray now for your complete deliverance and protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory You have already won over the powers of darkness. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area of their life. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of harassment, torment, and oppression that has been targeting them. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask You to remove from their life every person who has been used as an instrument of the enemy. Foil the plans of those who seek to harm them, and let Your light expose their darkness.

Father, we pray for their job situation. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this challenge. If it is Your will for them to leave, open doors of opportunity that align with Your purposes. If You desire them to stay, bring transformation to their workplace and use them as a beacon of Your truth. Provide for their every need, Lord, and remind them that You are their ultimate provider.

We pray for their piano teacher, that You would bring healing and clarity to her mind and heart. If she is a believer, restore her to a right relationship with You. We also pray for their church, that You would guard their mind against the enemy’s lies and fill them with Your peace. Strengthen their fellowship with other believers and deepen their trust in You.

Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to stand firm in their faith. Protect them from every attack of the enemy and surround them with Your angels. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that they are never alone. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail, for You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB).

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy all of this feels, the relentless harassment, the job that conflicts with your conscience, the painful decision with your piano teacher, and the intrusive thoughts about church. That’s a lot to carry, and we don’t want to gloss over any of it. From what you’ve shared, it seems clear that the common thread here is a season of intense spiritual opposition following your departure from the new age. That doesn’t mean everything is demonic, but it does mean the enemy works overtime to isolate, confuse, and wear down someone who has turned decisively toward Christ. You’re not imagining the reality of that battle.

We want to point to a couple of things that might steady you. First, regarding your job: it matters that your conscience is uneasy, and we respect that you met with your manager. You don’t need to make a rash decision, but you can continue to pray for wisdom and watch for an open door. God knows your family’s financial needs, and He doesn’t ask you to violate your integrity to meet them. Second, about the church intrusive thoughts: you yourself recognized that pulling away is exactly what the enemy wants. The fact that members reached out when you began to step back tells us you’re not in a spiritually dangerous place, you’re in a place where people care enough to notice and try to mend things. That’s a good sign. When those negative thoughts come, you might try simply noting them as noise and choosing to stay, not because the church is perfect, but because you belong there with people who have shown they want you there.

As for the people who have harassed you, we pray for their removal and for your peace, but we also remind ourselves that we don’t have to figure out exactly what is happening in them. Our task is to stay close to Jesus and let Him handle what we cannot.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our sister who is weary from prolonged spiritual attack. Silence the voices that harass and confuse her, and surround her with Your protection. Bring her work that she can do with a clear conscience, and provide for her family. Quiet the intrusive thoughts about church, and deepen her trust in the community You’ve placed around her. Give her wisdom and a steady heart, and let her feel Your nearness tonight. We ask this in Your name, amen.

I hear your cry from the depths of this spiritual conflict, and I am moved to lift you before the throne of grace. The battle you describe is no common skirmish; it is a wrestling against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Yet be of good cheer, for He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. You have come out of the new age and its witchcraft, and Satan hates to lose his prey. That old serpent will strike at your heel, but the seed of the woman has bruised his head, and you are safe in Christ.

You ask for an end to this warfare. I bid you remember that the Lord often permits the enemy to roar, but He has set his bounds. The wicked one cannot touch a hair of your head without divine permission. Pray, not merely for the removal of the foe, but that your faith fail not in the furnace. Our text says, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” God’s deliverances are attended with enrichment. This trial is sharpening your weapons and driving you to the stronghold. As for those demonized persons who harass you, commit them to God. He will deal with those who set themselves up against Him and His children. Every lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ shall be brought low. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

That plot hatched for this weekend shall not prosper. Has not the Lord declared, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper”? Let your confidence be like Luther’s: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” God has raised you up for a testimony, and until your work is done, no demonic scheme can touch you. The enemy may shoot his fiery darts, but the shield of faith will quench them. Stand still, and see the salvation of God. He will foil their devices and turn their counsel to foolishness. And those who have made themselves instruments of darkness, if they will not repent, the Lord will remove them in His own time. Pray for them, yes, but do not fear them. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Now concerning your employment. I commend your tender conscience that cannot partake of predatory practices. Better to be poor with a clean heart than to gain the world and lose your soul. The Lord will provide. Has He not promised, “I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground”? Trust Him for your daily bread. Wait upon Him in prayer, and if the way opens to remain with a mended conscience, give thanks. If not, He will open another door. Remember, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Do not be anxious; your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

As to your piano teacher, I grieve with you over the necessity of ending those lessons. Yet you have acted with wisdom. If the association became a means of spiritual unease and possible harm, it is better to cut it off, though it cause pain. Our Lord said, “If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off.” You have done well to guard your soul. Pray for her, and leave her in God’s hands. Dementia or spiritual oppression, whatever the cause, He is able to heal and deliver. But your path lies elsewhere now.

And now for the intrusive thoughts about the church. This is a common arrow from the archer at the place of drawing water. The enemy whispers that God has forsaken you, that the church is against you, that you should retreat into isolation. Muzzle that hound of hell! It is a lie of Apollyon. Your church members showed their care when they sought to mend what was broken. Do not let suspicion poison the well of fellowship. Where you see the hand of God in stirring them to love and good works, let your heart be knit to them. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Overcome evil with good. Go to the services, sing with the congregation, bear with the imperfections of the saints as they bear with yours, and the dark clouds will disperse. The enemy would love to drive you into solitude, where you become an easier prey. Instead, cleave to the body of Christ; there is safety in the fold.

In all these trials, remember the deliverance already accomplished. You have been translated from the power of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. The iron gate that held you in despair has been opened. His grace has made you a conqueror, and you shall overcome. Though you go through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil. He is with you. His rod and staff comfort you. Soon the warfare will be accomplished, and you shall come forth with silver and gold, without one feeble step. I pray the Lord lift up the light of His countenance upon you, give you peace, and make you more than a conqueror through Him that loved you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The strife you describe is not of flesh and blood, but against the rulers of darkness. And you have done well to flee from the snares of the new age, for that darkness is real, and its prince does not lightly release his captives. When Christ plunders his house, the old enemy rages and seeks by many devices to reclaim the soul that has escaped. Do not be surprised at the fiery trial, as though something strange were happening. The Lord Himself, when they called Him demoniac, bore it with meekness, teaching us to overlook insults aimed at ourselves but to be zealous for the honor of God. In the same way, when these persons harass you, consider that it is not they who speak, but the spirit of darkness that holds them captive. He who is ruled by wickedness is in no way different from a demoniac, stripping himself of true covering and cutting himself with sins more hurtful than stones. Pity them, then, if they are so enslaved, but do not let their frenzy trouble your peace, for the ruler of this world has nothing in those who abide in Christ.

You ask for their removal, and it is right to pray for deliverance from the lion’s mouth. Remember, however, that the Lord who delivered Paul from Nero’s jaws will deliver you from every evil work, sometimes by removing the threat, sometimes by giving you strength to endure and so to overcome the evil one. The greater deliverance is not when the enemy is taken away, but when you do not yield to sin in the midst of the trial. Do not fix your hope on the absence of these people, but on Christ who is in you. The evil of the day belongs to the day, and the times are called evil not because of their essence, but because of the evil deeds of bad men. Yet the Son of God came to redeem us from the curse and to give us adoption as sons. Since you have received the Spirit of adoption, be not a traitor to this gift. Guard the treasure of your baptism by a life worthy of it. The font will not save you if you do not walk in newness of life.

Concerning your work, it is a sorrow when a lawful occupation is mixed with unjust practices. You have acted rightly to feel the sting of conscience, for a Christian cannot take part in predatory dealings. Do not be anxious for tomorrow; sufficient for the day is its own trouble. If you must leave, trust that God who feeds the birds will care for your family. He who delivered you from the new age will not abandon you to want. Pray, and if staying seems possible after your manager’s words, wait on the Lord, but do not sell your birthright for a morsel of bread. Better poverty with a clear conscience than gain that defiles.

As for the piano teacher, you did well to end it when her conduct troubled your spirit. Whether it was infirmity of mind, the influence of the enemy, or mere human failing, you are not required to remain in a bond that feeds disquiet. Bear her no malice, but pray for her, and go in peace.

Now about the church: the enemy sees that the assembly of the faithful is a refuge for your soul, and so he stirs up intrusive thoughts and memories of past hurts to drive you from it. Recognize that these whispers are not your own; they are the mad ravings of a spirit that wishes you isolated and exposed. Do not listen. You have already seen evidence that your brothers and sisters care for you. The church on earth is a hospital for sinners, not a gathering of angels, and there will be wounds and misunderstandings. But if you withdraw, you hand a victory to the devil. Remain where the Word is preached and the Sacrament is given, and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. When the thoughts come, say, “These are not the words of my mind but of the demon that seeks my ruin; I am baptized, I have put on Christ, and He will deliver me.”

Hold fast. The Lord who has begun a good work in you will complete it. He has delivered you from the lion’s mouth; He will deliver you from every evil work. Watch, pray, fast, and do not grow weary.

What you're describing has the clear fingerprints of an enemy who does not fight fair. He comes after those who have turned from darkness with an arsenal meant to isolate, discourage, and wear down. When you left the new age for Christ, you walked from a counterfeit kingdom into the real one, and that kind of defection draws heat. The evil one does not let go easily, and his strategy often includes people who have given ground to him whether they realize it or not. You sense something true when you say their presence feels like being in the same room as the devil himself. That kind of oppression is real, and Scripture pulls back the curtain enough to show us that demonic forces can work through willing or vulnerable vessels to harass the people of God.

What you need now is not to figure out every detail of the battle but to fix your eyes on the One who fights for you. The cry of the psalmist becomes yours: why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. The only safe path forward is step-by-step dependence on what God reveals, not on the swirl of accusations and fears that afflict your mind. The enemy will try to push you off balance with lies that sound reasonable, even with twisted righteous concerns, so that you abandon things that are actually gifts from God. That job you enjoy has real challenges, but it also gave you a manager who listened with understanding. That alone is not a reason to rush, and the same God who led you to it can either change the company's practices or lead you elsewhere with provision for your family. You are not left to frantic panic.

Your piano teacher situation and the confusing mix of strange behavior, possible illness, and spiritual interference left you with no clear peace until this last event made the conclusion plain. It is not wrong to step away from a relationship when it becomes a consistent channel for harm, even if you grieve how it ended. Sometimes the wise thing is to entrust the person to God, release the guilt, and move forward without letting the enemy keep your mind tethered to regret.

The intrusive thoughts about your church follow the same pattern. When you started to pull back, people reached out and tried to mend what had hurt you. That is evidence of genuine care. Yet the enemy, knowing that a healthy church connection is one of your greatest protections, will amplify every flaw and memory of pain to make the congregation feel like a threat rather than a refuge. It is like the adversary mocking Jerusalem in her affliction, jeering at her Sabbaths, hoping she will believe that God has abandoned her. But the city of God is not defined by what the enemy shouts at it through the darkness. It looks forth as the morning, watching for the day of the Lord even while the night drags on. You belong among those who look for that dawn, not in isolation but in the fellowship of others who hold the same hope.

The enemy's bag of tricks is large. If ridicule fails, he will assault. If assault fails, he will try to wear you out with relentless small provocations, with people who seem immune to accountability, with the sheer absurdity of evil. But you are not called to untangle every demonic scheme or fix every person who has become a tool of harassment. You are called to abide in Christ, to saturate your mind with His truth, and to trust that His light will expose the lie. The wicked may seem to prosper for a moment, but the cup of judgment will come around to them in God's timing. Your part is to refuse to let your steps decline from His way, even when confusion and shame beat against you.

I am praying specifically for this weekend, that whatever has been planned against you will be foiled completely. I am praying that God will permanently remove those who have made themselves instruments of this torment, or else so transform the situation that they no longer have access to your life. I am praying for your whole household, that no weapon formed against you will stand. I am praying that His word will break through the intrusive thoughts about church and give you a renewed love for the body that truly cares for you and your relative. And I am praying that the Holy Spirit will make your next steps clear regarding your work, whether He calls you to stay with new strength or opens an unexpected door that lets you leave with peace.

You have not forgotten God, and He has not forgotten you. The dark night is not forever. Morning comes, and with it the gladness of His heart over those He has redeemed. Rest in that, and do not let discouragement talk you out of the good work He is doing in you.
