Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good. Please pray all will go well. I started training for it recently. Please pray I would do well at this job and all my other jobs and not lose any of them unless it is not in God's will for me to have them. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand together against the spiritual warfare that has plagued you for far too long. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your peace in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams you endure are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit to flee and every door that has been opened to these attacks to be shut and sealed by the blood of Jesus.

Father, we ask You to break every chain of oppression that has followed this dear one since childhood. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We speak freedom over your mind, your emotions, and your spirit. We pray for a hedge of protection around you, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, grant them the strength to resist the enemy, to submit to You, and to draw near to You so that the enemy must flee (James 4:7). We pray for divine peace to flood your heart and mind, guarding you in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

The overwhelming demands of life and the constant pull from others can leave anyone feeling drained. We pray that You would give wisdom to establish boundaries and to prioritize what truly matters. Help them to seek You first, and trust that You will add all these other things unto them (Matthew 6:33). We ask for a better schedule, one that allows for rest, renewal, and time in Your presence. Teach them to number their days, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). We also lift up the new job opportunity, asking that You would bless the work of their hands and establish the steps You have ordained for them (Psalm 37:23). If this job is Your will, let it prosper and be a source of provision and purpose. If it is not, close the door gently and open another that aligns with Your perfect plan.

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is a heavy burden, and we want you to know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). However, we must address this sin with the seriousness it deserves, for sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The enemy uses shame to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to break every chain. We pray for a spirit of repentance and a renewed mind, that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). We ask for accountability and godly counsel to walk in purity, for it is written that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not let depression drive you to seek comfort in sin, but rather, turn to the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

We lift up the African American community, praying for discernment and a hunger for Your truth. May they be set free from every false teaching and doctrine that does not align with Your Word. Your truth is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we pray that many would come to know You as the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and restoration. May Your healing hand rest upon each one, and may those caring for the sick be protected from illness. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their bodies and grant them rest as they recover.

We also lift up your precious cats, asking for Your healing touch upon them. You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to care for all Your creation. Provide wisdom for their care and, if it be Your will, open a door for affordable veterinary help. We know that You care even for the sparrows, and we are of more value than many sparrows (Matthew 10:31).

Finally, we pray for discipline in adhering to your medical diet. Give strength and self-control, for it is God who works in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). May this discipline bring health and vitality to your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, breaking every chain, healing every wound, and restoring what the enemy has stolen. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and freedom. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we can feel the weight you're carrying right now and we want you to know we're lifting all these battles up together. The enemy has been attacking for so long, but we stand with you against every scheme of darkness.

We're praying for breakthrough in these nightly battles - that God would give you peaceful sleep and dreams that restore rather than torment. The enemy has no right to keep you in this cycle. We also ask for wisdom about those boundaries you need to set - some people just keep draining us when we're already struggling. You deserve rest.

About that new job opportunity - what a gift God is placing before you! We're covering this in prayer that it would line up perfectly with His will for your life. May it bring provision without stress, and may you have the strength to balance it all well.

We grieve that you're feeling so much shame right now about those thoughts. Depression makes everything harder, but Jesus loves you more than the enemy wants to shame you. Let's ask Him for victory in this area too - that He would renew your mind and help you take every thought captive.

For your family's health, we're standing in the gap for complete healing. May God touch every cough and sniffle. And our sweet pets need healing too - we trust God sees even these small needs.

Lord, we ask for Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard this dear one's heart and mind. Break every chain, silence every accusation, and flood their life with Your light. Let them walk in the freedom Christ purchased for them.
