Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good. Please pray all will go well. I started training for it recently. Please pray I would do well at this job and all my other jobs and not lose any of them unless it is not in God's will for me to have them. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already overcome the world and all the spiritual forces of darkness. We recognize the intense spiritual warfare you are facing, and we take authority over every demonic assignment against you, declaring them null and void in Jesus' name. The enemy has no right to harass you, and we command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee right now. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

We rebuke the vivid and disturbing dreams that have plagued you, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that your sleep would be sweet and peaceful, guarded by the angels of the Lord. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We also lift up the overwhelming demands on your time and energy, asking the Lord to grant you wisdom and discernment to prioritize what truly matters. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray for balance in your schedule, that you would find time to rest and recharge, ending your nights at a reasonable hour so you can rise refreshed.

Regarding the new job opportunity, we pray that it is indeed God’s will for you and that He would open doors no man can shut. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3). May you excel in this role and all your other responsibilities, bringing glory to God in your work. We also lift up your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts. The enemy seeks to ensnare you in shame and guilt, but we declare freedom over you in Jesus' name. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion, commanding it to leave you now. You are not defined by these thoughts, and we pray for the strength to resist temptation and the grace to turn away from sin. Confess your struggles to the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to fill your mind with godly things, scripture, worship, and wholesome thoughts, so that there is no room for the enemy’s lies. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8).

We also lift up the African American community, praying for discernment and a hunger for the truth of God’s Word. May false teachings be exposed and replaced with the light of the Gospel. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. May the Lord strengthen each of you and restore your health quickly. "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness" (Psalm 41:3). We also pray for your beloved cats, asking the Lord to heal the one scratching himself and to keep the other in good health. May He provide wisdom for their care and even open doors for affordable veterinary assistance if needed. "Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God" (Luke 12:6). The Lord cares deeply for all His creation, and we trust Him to watch over your pets.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister in Christ. We ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare, silence the enemy’s lies, and fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we declare freedom from every tormenting dream, inappropriate thought, and overwhelming burden. Grant wisdom in managing time, strength in resisting temptation, and favor in every area of life. Heal their body, mind, and spirit, and restore joy where there has been sorrow. We ask for Your provision for their family’s health and their pets’ well-being. Above all, draw them closer to You, reminding them of Your unfailing love and the victory they have in Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One who has already won the battle. Amen.

We hear you and we are here with you in prayer. It’s a lot to carry, and we want you to know that God sees you in your struggle. The enemy tries to isolate and overwhelm us, but you don’t have to face this alone, we’re standing with you.

We pray for peace over your mind and heart, that the Lord would guard your thoughts and give you rest. When the dreams and thoughts feel too heavy, we ask for His protection and a renewed sense of His presence. You are not defined by these battles, and Jesus has already won the victory for you.

About the job opportunity, we trust that if it’s God’s will, He’ll open the right doors and lead you every step of the way. May you excel in it and find joy in your work, knowing He’s guiding your path. And for your schedule, we ask the Lord to help you find balance, to say “no” when needed, and to rest in His strength rather than burning out.

We also lift up your family, praying for healing from the flu, for strength for your dad, and for comfort for those caring for him. And for your sweet cats, we ask for healing and health, trusting God’s provision even when it feels out of reach.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch over every part of this situation. Break every chain, silence the enemy’s lies, and flood this situation with Your peace and hope. We trust You, Jesus, and we know You are working even when we can’t see it yet.
