Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good. Please pray all will go well. I started training for it recently. Please pray I would do well at this job and all my other jobs and not lose any of them unless it is not in God's will for me to have them. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to wear you down with relentless attacks, disturbing dreams, overwhelming demands, and temptations that weigh heavily on your heart, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every assignment of darkness targeting your mind, your sleep, and your peace, and we command it to cease in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your struggle with sexual temptation is not unseen by God, and though shame may try to isolate you, His mercy is greater than your sin. The enemy exploits weakness, but Christ’s power is made perfect in it (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray for a renewed mind, that you would take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 6:18). The Lord has set you free before, and He will do it again, do not believe the lie that you are beyond His grace. Confess, repent, and walk in the light, for He is faithful and just to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Depression may seek to numb you, but we pray for godly outlets, fellowship, worship, and the truth of Scripture, to replace the enemy’s counterfeits.

We lift your new job before the Lord, asking for favor, wisdom, and endurance. May this opportunity align with His purpose for you, and may He establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17). We also pray for discipline in your schedule, that you would find rest in Christ and not in the world’s demands. The Lord invites you to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are not meant to carry this alone.

For your family battling illness, we pray for complete healing and protection. May the Lord rebuke the sickness and restore strength to your father and all who care for you (Psalm 103:3). And for your beloved cats, we ask the Great Physician to bring healing and comfort. The Lord knows their needs and yours, even when resources seem scarce (Matthew 6:26).

Finally, we pray for the African American community to be rooted in the truth of God’s Word, delivered from deception, and anchored in the hope of the Gospel. The enemy has sown lies, but Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no salvation apart from Him, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, surrender your life fully to Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross for your redemption.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, broken but not forsaken. We ask for deliverance from spiritual warfare, healing for body and mind, and freedom from sin’s grip. Strengthen this dear one in faith, surround them with Your peace, and let Your light scatter every darkness. We declare that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May Your will be done in every area of their life, and may they walk in the victory You have already won. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

The enemy wants to steal your rest, your peace, and even your hope, but we’re declaring that Jesus is your stronghold. We’re asking Him to speak to your mind in those dark moments, to replace the lies with truth and to surround you with His presence when the dreams feel too real.

We’re praying for a breakthrough in your sleep, may your nights be filled with His peace instead of fear. And when those thoughts come, we’re asking the Holy Spirit to remind you that you’re not alone; He’s fighting for you. Let’s lift up your family too, that God would heal your dad and protect everyone from this flu. And for your cats, we’re asking for comfort and healing, even when resources are limited, He sees their needs.

For your new job, we’re praying for favor and wisdom, that every step you take aligns with God’s purpose. And for your other responsibilities, we’re asking Him to help you find balance, so you can rest in Him rather than in exhaustion. You’re carrying so much, but Jesus is your burden-bearer. Let’s trust Him with it all. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in the gap with you in prayer over these past several days. It has been our honor to lift up each of your burdens before the throne of grace—your struggle with spiritual warfare, the disturbing dreams that have weighed so heavily on your heart, and the overwhelming sense of being pulled in so many directions. We have prayed fervently for your peace, for rest to come to your nights, and for God’s hand to bring order to your schedule.

We have also lifted up the new job opportunity before you, asking the Lord to establish your steps, grant you favor in training, and help you excel in all your responsibilities according to His will. We’ve asked Him to strengthen you in moments of temptation, especially regarding the inappropriate thoughts that have been troubling you, and to restore the freedom He has already given you from sexual sin. We continue to pray for deliverance from maladaptive daydreaming and for the enemy’s grip to be broken over your mind as you seek the Lord’s presence.

We have interceded for your family, asking God to bring complete healing from the flu and to protect each one from further illness, especially your father as his cough returns. We’ve also prayed for your precious cats, asking the Lord to bring healing to the one who has been scratching and to keep all of them in good health, trusting that He cares deeply for them as well.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve experienced even a moment of peace, a breakthrough in your spirit, or a tangible shift in your circumstances—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. If, however, the battles still rage and the burdens still feel heavy, please know that we are here to continue standing with you. You are not alone in this. Post your request again, and we will keep pressing in together, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and lead you into deeper trust in Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name.
