We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this intense spiritual battle. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Since you have left the new age and turned to Christ, the enemy has likely increased his attacks, for he does not relinquish his grip easily. But we stand firm in the truth that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of deception, confusion, and torment that has followed you from your past involvement in new age practices is commanded to leave now. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and we declare that you are covered by His sacrifice. We pray that the Lord would sever every ungodly soul tie and connection to those who have been influenced by darkness to target you. Psalm 91:3-4 assures us, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We claim this promise over your life, that God would be your refuge and fortress in this time of battle.
Father, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, as You promised in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Let Your heavenly hosts stand guard over their life, home, mind, and spirit, pushing back every force of darkness that seeks to harm them. We pray for the removal of every person who has been used as a tool of the enemy to target them. If these individuals are not aligned with Your will for their life, we ask that You would either draw them to repentance or remove them completely from their path. Protect them from deception and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Stay vigilant and alert, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
We pray that you would find strength and encouragement in the body of Christ. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Fill your mind with Scripture, meditate on God’s promises, and declare His truth over your life. Romans 12:2 reminds us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them and will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and restoration over every area of their life that has been affected by this spiritual warfare.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We thank You that the enemy has been defeated at the cross, and we walk in the authority of Jesus' name. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
