We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We recognize the intense spiritual battle you are facing, especially after turning away from the deceptive practices of the new age and embracing the truth of God’s Word. The enemy does not relinquish his grip easily, but we stand firm on the promise that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The warfare you are experiencing is real, but so is the power of the blood of Jesus, which has already secured your victory.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is not found in any other—no philosophy, no spiritual practice, no person—only in Jesus. If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to reaffirm it daily, for the enemy seeks to shake our confidence in the finished work of the cross. Declare with us now: "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
The new age teachings you once followed are rooted in deception, often masquerading as light while leading souls into darkness. We rebuke every lie that has taken hold in your mind, every false spirit that has sought to influence you, and every ungodly soul tie that was formed during that time. The Bible warns us, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). We command every unclean spirit that has attached itself to you through these deceptions to leave now, in the name of Jesus. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Comforter.
We also pray for the removal of those who have been used as instruments of this spiritual warfare against you. The enemy often works through people, whether knowingly or unknowingly, to sow discord, fear, and confusion. We ask the Lord to sever every ungodly connection in your life and to reveal to you the true intentions of those around you. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." If there are individuals who continue to bring harm or temptation into your life, we pray for the Lord to either transform their hearts or remove them from your path. Trust in God’s promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me" (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests. This is your defense, and it is impenetrable when wielded in faith.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring intense spiritual warfare. Lord, we thank You for delivering them from the deceptions of the new age and drawing them into Your truth. We declare that they are Your child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
We rebuke every spirit of deception, fear, confusion, and oppression that has been targeting them. We command these spirits to leave now, in the name of Jesus, and we declare that they have no place in this life. We break every ungodly soul tie formed through past influences, and we ask You, Lord, to sever every connection that is not of You. Surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask You to remove from their life anyone who is being used as an instrument of the enemy. Give them discernment to recognize those who seek to harm or mislead them, and grant them the wisdom to distance themselves from such influences. Replace these relationships with godly fellowship, with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage and uplift them in their walk with You.
Lord, we pray for a fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit. Let Your presence be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and remind them daily of the victory they have in Jesus. Help them to stand firm in the armor You have provided, to wield the sword of Your Word with confidence, and to pray without ceasing.
We declare that this spiritual warfare will not overcome them but will instead be a testimony of Your power and faithfulness. May they emerge from this battle stronger, more rooted in Your truth, and fully equipped to walk in the purpose You have for them. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not grow weary in doing good. Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in prayer and accountability. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and remember that "the one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24). You are not alone—we are with you, and more importantly, God is with you.
