We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you stand firm against the spiritual warfare that has been waging against you since your departure from the new age movement. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most crucial step in standing firm against spiritual warfare.
Now, we rebuke the spiritual attacks that have been targeting you. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. We pray that you will be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, putting on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:10-17).
We also pray for the removal of people from your life who have been influenced by this spiritual warfare. The Bible warns us that bad company corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33). We ask that God would give you wisdom and discernment to recognize those who seek to lead you astray, and the courage to distance yourself from them. We pray that God would surround you with fellow believers who will encourage you, support you, and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection over our brother/sister. We rebuke every spirit of deception, confusion, and fear that has been targeting them. We declare that they are a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask that You would remove from their life anyone who seeks to lead them astray or harm them in any way. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and give them a hedge of protection that the enemy cannot penetrate. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and love, and help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, immersing yourself in God's Word and spending time in prayer daily. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Find a local body of believers to fellowship with, as iron sharpens iron, and so one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Together, we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil and live victorious lives in Christ Jesus.
