We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, recognizing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, at which every knee should bow (Philippians 2:9-10), and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you and your mother.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you and your mother to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and most crucial step in spiritual warfare, as it is through Christ that we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
We also want to gently but firmly address the use of terms like "around the clock." While we understand the urgency and desperation in your plea, we must remember that our God is not bound by time. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). He does not slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), and His protection and provision are constant. Instead of asking for prayer "around the clock," let us trust in the One who is always watching over us.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her mother, who are under attack from the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We break every curse, hex, spell, and assignment of witchcraft that has been sent their way, in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their minds, their bodies, and their spirits.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Let them be rooted and grounded in love, that they may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, height, and depth of Your love (Ephesians 3:17-18).
We pray for a breakthrough in their lives, Lord. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let the enemy’s plans be brought to nothing. We declare that no evil shall touch them, and that they shall tread upon the lion and the cobra; they shall trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot (Psalm 91:13).
Father, we ask that You would raise up a community of believers around them who will stand in the gap and intercede on their behalf. Let them not be isolated in this battle, but surrounded by Your people who will uphold them in prayer and encouragement.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in You, our Refuge and our Fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you and your mother to put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes:
- The belt of truth (Ephesians 6:14)
- The breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14)
- The shoes of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15)
- The shield of faith (Ephesians 6:16)
- The helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17)
- The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17)
- Praying always in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18)
Additionally, we encourage you to regularly engage in spiritual disciplines such as prayer, reading and meditating on God’s Word, fasting, and fellowship with other believers. These practices will strengthen your spirit and help you to stand firm in the face of spiritual attacks.
Lastly, we want to gently address the need for forgiveness. While it is understandable to feel anger and resentment toward this relative, we must remember that unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27). We encourage you to pray for this relative, that God would open her eyes to the truth and draw her to Himself. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean that we condone her actions, but rather that we release her into God’s hands and trust Him to deal with her justly.
Stand firm, dear sister, and know that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). He is your Deliverer, your Strong Tower, and your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, and we stand with you in this fight, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring victory.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
