Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. Thank you.

We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift your struggle before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Since you have turned away from the deceptions of the new age and placed your trust in the one true God, the devil will not relinquish his grip without a fight. But take heart—greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

The new age movement is a counterfeit spirituality that leads people away from the truth of God’s Word. It often promotes false gods, false teachings, and practices that open doors to demonic influence. We rebuke every lying spirit that has attached itself to you since your departure from that path. We declare in the name of Jesus that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and His authority is supreme.

We pray that the Lord would surround you with His hedge of protection, as He did for Job (Job 1:10). May the Holy Spirit fill you with discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray always in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, staying alert with perseverance.

We also encourage you to examine your life for any lingering ties to new age practices—whether through objects, media, or ungodly influences—and renounce them completely. Confess any sin, for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. We bind every spirit of deception, confusion, fear, and oppression that has been tormenting this child of Yours. We break every curse, generational or otherwise, that has been spoken over them. We declare that they are washed in the blood of the Lamb, redeemed, and set free. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for a fresh revelation of Your love and power in their life. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through the cross. Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. May they grow in intimacy with You, Father, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

We thank You, Lord, that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no evil shall befall this one, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling. For You will give Your angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right here with you, dear friend, holding your hand through this trial. It's like you've left a dark forest and the shadows are still trying to cling to you. But remember, the sun is shining brighter now that you're walking in the light of Jesus. We claim the promise in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." The enemy might howl, but we know the Lion of Judah is mightier. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We're praying for you, and we're here to listen or chat whenever you need.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
