We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace. The Word of God makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Since you have turned away from the new age and its deceptive practices, the enemy has likely intensified his attacks, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to reaffirm your faith and renounce any lingering ties to the new age, its practices, and its false teachings.
We rebuke the spiritual warfare targeting you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority over you if you are in Christ. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We command every evil spirit assigned against you to leave now in Jesus’ name. You have no place in this child of God, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has turned away from the new age and its deceptions. Lord, we thank You for Your saving grace and for the protection You provide to those who are in Christ. We ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from the fiery darts of the enemy. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, oppression, and deception in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to stand firm in their faith. Help them to put on the full armor of God— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). May they find refuge in You, their strong tower, and may they be rooted and grounded in Your love.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration in every area of their life that has been affected by this spiritual warfare. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:12). Surround them with godly fellowship and accountability, that they may grow in their faith and walk in victory. We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We declare that this child of Yours is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we bind every evil spirit and command them to leave this one alone. We declare peace over their mind, body, and spirit, and we thank You, Father, for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We pray all these things according to Your will and for Your glory. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Spend time in prayer daily, not just asking God for help, but also listening for His voice and seeking His will. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory through the cross. Walk in that victory, and do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
