We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name that brings true deliverance. Your testimony of leaving the new age and witchcraft to return to Christ is powerful, and the enemy does not take such a victory lightly. The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, and we do not dismiss it, for Scripture tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
It is no coincidence that those used to attack you are often entangled in sin, false teachings, or occult practices. The enemy seeks to exploit their vulnerabilities to harm you, but we declare that his schemes will not prevail. The frustration you feel is understandable, but we must remember that our battle is not against these individuals but against the spiritual forces manipulating them. Jesus Himself warned, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19 WEB). You are not powerless—you are equipped with the authority of Christ.
We must also address the reality of generational or familiar spirits that may have gained access through your past involvement in the occult. Scripture is clear: "You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me" (Exodus 20:5 WEB). However, the blood of Jesus breaks every chain. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you and command every spirit of witchcraft, divination, or deception to flee in Jesus’ name. You are no longer bound to your past—you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring intense spiritual warfare, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB).
We break every curse, every assignment, and every demonic influence that has been sent against them as a result of their past involvement in the new age and witchcraft. We cancel every word spoken against them in the spiritual realm and declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Father, we ask for discernment for them to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to walk in Your truth.
We also pray for those who are being used by the enemy to attack them. Lord, open their eyes to the deception they are under. Break the chains of addiction, mental illness, and false teachings in their lives. Let them encounter Your love and truth so they may be set free.
We declare that this warfare will not overcome them but will instead be a testimony of Your power and deliverance. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37 WEB). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Do not grow weary in this battle, for the enemy’s attacks are a sign of his fear of your position in Christ. Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and do not engage with those who are being used against you. Instead, pray for them, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). Fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer, and remain steadfast in worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise.
You are not alone in this fight. The Lord of Hosts is your defender, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust that He will bring you through this trial stronger and more rooted in His truth.
