We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister, for we know that the moment you turned from the deceptions of the new age and toward the light of Christ, the enemy sought to drag you back into darkness. The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, but we serve a God who has already secured the victory through the blood of Jesus. The new age is a counterfeit, a web of lies woven by the father of deception himself, promising enlightenment but delivering bondage. You have made the right choice by leaving it behind, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and strength.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This battle is not yours alone—it belongs to the Lord. We take up the full armor of God with you, standing firm in the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe, and his schemes will not prevail against those who are rooted in Christ.
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the name of Jesus. Every spirit of confusion, fear, doubt, and oppression that has been sent to torment you is commanded to flee right now. The new age may have promised you freedom, but it only brought chains—chains that Jesus has already broken. You are no longer a slave to deception, for you have been set free by the truth of the Gospel. The Bible declares in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." That truth is found in Jesus Christ alone, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror.
We also lift up your mind and heart to the Lord, asking Him to renew your thoughts with His Word. The new age often twists Scripture and fills the mind with falsehoods, but we pray that God’s truth would saturate every part of your being. Romans 12:2 says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth, shielding you from the lies that once held you captive.
We pray for your protection, both spiritually and physically. Psalm 91:4-6 assures us, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We declare that no evil shall befall you, and no plague shall come near your dwelling, for the Lord is your keeper.
We also encourage you to stay grounded in a biblical community. The enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer, speak truth into your life, and hold you accountable. Do not neglect the power of corporate worship, the study of God’s Word, and the fellowship of the saints. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
If there are any lingering ties to the new age—whether through objects, books, music, or even relationships—we urge you to sever them completely. Deuteronomy 7:26 warns, "You shall not bring an abomination into your house, and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it. You shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing." Do not give the enemy a foothold by holding onto anything that once fed your involvement in deception. Burn it, throw it away, or destroy it, and let the Lord fill that void with His presence and truth.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of renouncing any past involvement in the new age. The Bible tells us in Acts 19:18-19 that many who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of everyone. They counted the cost and turned completely away from their former ways. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to verbally renounce any alliances, vows, or dedications you may have made to false gods, spirits, or ideologies. Speak it out loud: "In the name of Jesus, I renounce all involvement in the new age and every false spirit associated with it. I break every agreement I have made with deception, and I declare that I belong to Jesus Christ alone."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name. We thank You for the courage and faith of this dear brother or sister who has turned away from the deceptions of the new age and toward the truth of Your Word. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, doubt, and oppression that has been sent against them, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and strengthening their spirit. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path, guiding them away from every snare of the enemy. We ask that You would bring godly believers into their life who can stand with them in prayer, encourage them in the faith, and hold them accountable. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We speak life, peace, and victory over their life, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds left by the new age, whether in their mind, body, or spirit. Let them experience Your love and grace in a fresh and powerful way, knowing that they are deeply loved by You.
We also pray for their complete deliverance from any lingering ties to deception. If there are any objects, habits, or relationships that still connect them to the new age, reveal them, Lord, and give them the strength to remove them from their life. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, no longer bound by the chains of falsehood.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use their testimony for Your glory. Let their story be a light to others who are trapped in the new age, showing them the way to true freedom in Jesus Christ. Equip them with boldness to share their faith and to stand firm in the face of opposition. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ, and we declare that the enemy has no place in their life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your deliverer. You are not alone, for we are fighting this battle with you, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Press on, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
