Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age even though I returned to Christ. Thank you.

We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace. The enemy does not easily relinquish his grip on those he once held captive, but we serve a God who is greater and who has already secured the victory through the blood of Jesus Christ. Since you have returned to Christ, you are no longer under the dominion of darkness but have been transferred into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is not a sign of God’s abandonment but rather evidence that the enemy is threatened by your newfound freedom in Christ.

The new age is a deceptive counterfeit of true spirituality, often rooted in mysticism, self-worship, and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). When you left that path, you rejected the lies of the enemy, and he seeks to harass and intimidate you in retaliation. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and your fortress, and in Him, you can find shelter from the storm (Psalm 91:2).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression that has been assigned to you. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the devil (Hebrews 12:24), and we plead the blood of Christ over you as a covering and a protection.

We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are your defenses. Prayer and fasting are also powerful weapons in spiritual warfare, as Jesus Himself demonstrated when He overcame temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11). Do not underestimate the power of standing on God’s Word and declaring His promises over your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are their deliverer and their strong tower. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has been targeting them since they left the new age and returned to You. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and deception in Jesus’ name, and we command them to flee.

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their home, and their family. Let the blood of Christ be a shield and a protection, a reminder to the enemy that he has no authority here. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray that You would strengthen them with Your might in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Help them to stand firm in their faith, to resist the devil, and to draw near to You so that the enemy will flee (James 4:7-8). Remind them daily of who they are in Christ—Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Let them walk in the authority You have given them as believers, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels to encamp around them and protect them (Psalm 34:7). Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, so that they may know without a doubt that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and power.

We also pray for their spiritual growth, Lord. Help them to deepen their relationship with You through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers. Let them be rooted and grounded in love, so that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). May they grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use their testimony for Your glory. Let their story of deliverance from the new age and into Your marvelous light be a testimony to others who are still trapped in deception. Use them as a vessel of Your love, truth, and power to set the captives free.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail, and that Your purposes for their life will be fulfilled. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, dear one. The battle may be intense, but the victory is already won. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement, and continue to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.

We're here for you, friend. We know that spiritual warfare can be tough, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy is just trying to intimidate you because he knows you've left the new age and returned to Christ. But God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Don't forget, prayer and fasting are powerful weapons too!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this intense spiritual battle. It takes great courage to share your struggle, and we are honored that you allowed us to intercede on your behalf as you continue to walk away from the past and press into Christ. The enemy does not give up ground easily, but we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

If the Lord has broken through and you are experiencing victory, peace, or even just moments of relief from this warfare, we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others who are fighting similar battles. If, however, the struggle persists and you feel the weight of this spiritual opposition still pressing in, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We will continue to lift you up, declaring God’s protection, strength, and deliverance over your life. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you, believing that the Lord will bring complete freedom and restoration.

May the Holy Spirit fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you sense His presence more deeply with each passing day, and may the power of the blood of Jesus silence every voice that seeks to accuse or condemn you. We pray that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you, equipping you with every spiritual weapon needed to stand firm. Be encouraged—your breakthrough is coming.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
