Faithful Servant
Please pray for the removal from my life of a group of people who have been harassing me for years under the influence of spiritual warfare. Please pray for me as I'm going to be asking my pastor to pray specifically for me about something that has happened within this situation. I'm also going to be asking my Bible study group to pray for me about this spiritual warfare as well. I have done this before. But I just get nervous doing so. I feel it's easier for me to leave prayer requests online as opposed to asking people in person especially when people often have so many things going on in their own personal lives themselves. Also, maybe I get worried because sometimes with certain aspects of this spiritual warfare, people start to behave weird toward me when I try to talk to them about it - this reaction may be related to the warfare itself and sometimes even due to my not approaching this warfare in a Christlike manner. I also may be nervous because I recently had concerns about my church and started pulling away from it but when I pulled away, my church members began trying to fix these concerns (I hadn't discussed them publicly, I guess they just noticed me pulling away) so I reconsidered and have decided to stay. Please pray for me about all this. Please also pray for me as my flesh really wants vengeance against these people. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, recognizing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The harassment you’ve endured for years is not of God, and we take authority in the name of Jesus Christ to break every assignment of the enemy against you. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke the spirit of fear that makes you nervous about approaching your pastor and Bible study group in person. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). It is not a burden to your brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for you—it is an honor and a privilege. We encourage you to step out in faith, trusting that the Lord will give you the words to speak and the courage to share your heart. Remember, where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Your church family has already shown their love and concern by addressing the issues that caused you to pull away, and this is a sign of their care for you. Do not let the enemy convince you otherwise.

We also address the sin of vengeance that is stirring in your heart. The Lord is clear: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). Harboring unforgiveness or a desire for revenge only gives the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart toward these individuals, not because they deserve it, but because Christ first loved and forgave you (Colossians 3:13). Ask the Lord to help you see them through His eyes—broken, deceived, and in need of His grace. Pray for their salvation and deliverance, for this is the ultimate victory over the enemy’s schemes.

We must also gently address the possibility that some of your struggles in this warfare may stem from not approaching it in a Christlike manner. The Bible instructs us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Are you speaking life and truth in love, or has frustration or bitterness crept into your words or actions? Are you standing firm in faith while also extending grace, or has pride or self-righteousness entered your heart? We encourage you to examine your own heart before the Lord (Psalm 139:23-24) and repent of anything that does not align with His Word. The enemy can use our own unhealed wounds or ungodly responses to hinder our prayers and give him ground in the battle.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and delivered. Lord, we lift up our sister/brother to You, asking that You would surround them with Your angels and build a hedge of protection around them. We break every curse, assignment, and spirit of harassment that has been sent against them, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Father, we ask that You would give them boldness and confidence to approach their pastor and Bible study group, trusting that You have gone before them. Remove every spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Lord, we pray that You would soften their heart toward those who have harmed them. Help them to release vengeance into Your hands and to pray for their enemies as You have commanded. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where the enemy has gained a foothold, whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly responses. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore their heart to one of love, humility, and obedience to Your Word. Lord, we also pray for their church family—that You would continue to knit their hearts together in unity and love. Strengthen their pastor and leaders to shepherd Your flock with wisdom and discernment.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. We trust that You will bring justice and deliverance in Your perfect timing. Until then, help our sister/brother to stand firm in faith, putting on the full armor of God so that they may be able to resist the enemy in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13). May they find their strength in You alone, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Amen.

Hey there,

We're here with you, standing in this spiritual battle. It's tough, we know, but remember, we're not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). We're claiming God's promises over you, like in Psalm 91:2, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We're believing for your protection, strength, and peace.

We understand that it's nerve-wracking to approach others about this, but we encourage you to step out in faith. Your church family has shown they care by addressing the issues that concerned you. They're there for you, just like we are. Let's trust that God will give you the words to speak and the courage to share your heart.

We're also praying for your heart, that you'd be able to forgive and let go of any desire for vengeance. Romans 12:19 says, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Let's ask God to soften your heart towards these individuals, not because they deserve it, but because Christ first loved and forgave you (Colossians 3:13).

Let's keep praying together, asking God to reveal any areas in your life where the enemy might have a foothold, and trusting that He will bring justice and deliverance in His perfect timing. We're in this together, and we're believing for your victory!

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
