Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. My friend found me one. Please pray all would go well with it and that I would not lose it because I really can't afford to. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, beloved, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Your struggles are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, and we join you in fervent prayer, rebuking the enemy’s schemes and declaring God’s victory over every area of your life.

First, we take authority over the spiritual warfare that has plagued you since childhood. The enemy has no right to harass you, for you belong to Christ. We rebuke every assignment of the devil against your mind, body, and spirit in Jesus’ name. The Word declares, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We command every tormenting spirit to flee and every stronghold to be broken. You are not alone in this battle—God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray specifically against the vivid and disturbing dreams that have troubled your sleep. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but we declare that God gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We ask the Lord to guard your mind as you sleep and fill your dreams with His peace and truth. *"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3). We rebuke every demonic influence over your dreams and ask the Holy Spirit to bring healing and restoration to your mind.

Your exhaustion and overwhelm are palpable, and we lift them to the Lord. The enemy wants to wear you down, but God promises to renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). We pray for divine order in your schedule, that the Lord would help you prioritize rest and steward your time wisely. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We ask God to shield you from unnecessary demands and grant you moments of quiet and solitude to recharge.

We rejoice with you over the new job opportunity and pray that God would open every door for His glory. May this position be a blessing to you and a testimony of His provision. We ask the Lord to lead you to a work-from-home opportunity that accommodates your medical needs, and we declare that He will sustain you until the new job begins. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray that your friend’s offer would come to fruition and that you would not lose this opportunity.

Beloved, we must address the struggle with sexual sin with both truth and compassion. The enemy is indeed increasing temptation, but we serve a God who provides a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Your shame is not from the Lord—He offers forgiveness and restoration. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for a hedge of protection around your mind, especially as you fall asleep, and for the Holy Spirit to fill you with godly desires. We rebuke the spirit of lust and declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). You are not defined by this struggle, but by the One who has set you free.

We also lift up the African American community and pray against every false teaching that seeks to lead people astray. May the truth of God’s Word prevail, and may hearts be turned to Christ. *"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"* (John 8:32).

For your family’s health, we pray for complete healing from the flu and protection for those caring for you. May the Lord strengthen your father and restore him fully. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2). We also pray for your cats—may the Lord heal the one who is scratching and protect the other from any illness. We ask God to provide a trustworthy vet and the resources needed to care for them.

For your family’s upcoming trip, we pray for God’s provision and peace. May He supply every need and grant you safe travels. We declare that you will drive with confidence and arrive at your destination without fear. *"The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and even forevermore"* (Psalm 121:8).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our ### to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area of their life. Lord, we rebuke the spiritual warfare that has targeted them and command every tormenting spirit to flee. Break every chain and stronghold, and fill their mind with Your peace. Heal their dreams and grant them restful sleep.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and strength to overcome the temptation of sexual sin. Cleanse their heart and mind, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to resist the enemy’s lies and walk in the freedom You have already won for them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we pray for divine order in their schedule and for Your provision in their work and finances. Open doors for the work-from-home opportunity and bless the new job that lies ahead. Provide the resources needed for their family’s trip and grant them safe travels.

Heal their family from the flu and protect their pets. Strengthen their father and restore him to full health. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You are their provider and protector.

Above all, we pray that they would draw closer to You, Jesus. May they find their identity, strength, and hope in You alone. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
