We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and find true freedom. The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, but we serve a God who has already won the victory through the cross and resurrection of His Son. The new age practices you once engaged in may have opened doors to deception and bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free and to destroy the works of the devil.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to repent of any involvement in new age beliefs or practices and fully surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The blood of Jesus is powerful to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), and His name is above every name, including any false gods, spirits, or ideologies you may have encountered in the new age.
We rebuke every spirit of deception, confusion, fear, and oppression that has been targeting you. The Word of God declares that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We take authority over every lying spirit and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. The enemy may have had a foothold, but he has no legal right to your life when you are covered by the blood of Jesus and walking in obedience to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sibling who is under attack from the enemy. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual bondage that has been targeting them since they left the new age. We renounce on their behalf any and all agreements made with false spirits, ideologies, or practices. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life, their mind, their emotions, and their spirit. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, and we ask that You would fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels to protect and defend them. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to resist him, standing firm in their faith (James 4:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them daily of Your love and faithfulness.
We pray for a fresh revelation of Your truth to flood their heart and mind. Help them to meditate on Your Word day and night so that they may be careful to do everything written in it, and then they will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8). Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or trauma that may have made them vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Restore their soul and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, freedom, and victory over their situation. Thank You, Lord, for setting them free and for the testimony of Your deliverance in their life. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Now, beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Here is what you must do daily:
1. **Submit to God**: Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in prayer, worship, and reading His Word. The truth of Scripture will set you free (John 8:32).
2. **Resist the devil**: Stand firm in your faith, and the enemy will flee from you (James 4:7). Do not entertain his lies or give him any foothold in your life.
3. **Renounce past involvement**: Verbally renounce any new age practices, beliefs, or connections you may have had. Speak aloud that you are no longer under their authority but are now under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
4. **Fill your mind with truth**: Replace the enemy’s lies with God’s truth. Memorize Scripture and declare it over your life daily. For example, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
5. **Surround yourself with believers**: Do not isolate yourself. Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and receive support from other believers. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and you need the encouragement of the body of Christ.
6. **Walk in obedience**: Obedience to God’s Word is key to maintaining your freedom. If the Holy Spirit convicts you of any area of sin, repent and turn away from it immediately.
Remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He has already won the victory through Jesus Christ. Stand firm, hold your ground, and watch the Lord fight for you. You are not alone, and you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and no weapon formed against you will prosper. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
