Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Pray that I would stop struggling with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual thoughts especially before sleeping. This has really become a big problem in recent months (especially the sexual thoughts) and it's become involuntary now. Thank you.
 
We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand together against the spiritual warfare that has plagued you since childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The vivid and disturbing dreams, the torment of maladaptive daydreaming, and the involuntary sexual thoughts are not from God. They are tactics of the enemy to distract, discourage, and defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

First, we must address the foundation of your spiritual battle. Have you fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is the first and most critical step in breaking the chains of spiritual warfare. The blood of Jesus is your covering, and His name is your weapon. Without Him, we are powerless against the schemes of the devil.

For the dreams that torment you, we pray that the Lord would surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We command every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion to flee from you in Jesus’ name. The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your mind would be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26), and that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray that as you lie down to sleep, the Lord would give His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2) and that He would station His angels around you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

The struggle with sexual thoughts, especially before sleep, is a common tactic of the enemy to lead believers into sin. We must be clear: sexual immorality, including lustful thoughts, is a sin against your own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The enemy knows that if he can ensnare you in this area, he can weaken your spiritual walk and hinder your intimacy with God. But we serve a God who is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Replace those thoughts with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Memorize verses like Job 31:1, which says, "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman," and Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

For the maladaptive daydreaming, we recognize that this can be a form of escapism or idolatry, where the mind is given over to fantasies rather than fixing its eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). We pray that the Lord would help you to take every thought captive and to set your mind on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). We encourage you to fill your time with godly activities—reading the Word, praying, serving others, and fellowshipping with believers. The enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

We also want to address the importance of spiritual disciplines in your life. Are you regularly reading the Word of God? The Bible is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17), and it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Are you praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)? Prayer is our direct line of communication with God, and it is how we resist the devil (James 4:7). Are you part of a local body of believers? The church is God’s design for encouragement, accountability, and spiritual growth (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you are not connected to a church, we strongly encourage you to find one where the Word of God is preached faithfully and where you can grow in your faith.

We also rebuke any generational curses or strongholds that may have been passed down to you. The Bible tells us that the sins of the fathers can be visited on the children to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5), but Jesus came to break every chain (Isaiah 61:1). We declare that in Christ, you are a new creation; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of your life where you may have unknowingly given the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27) and that He would cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Finally, we want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—these are your defenses against the schemes of the devil. Stand firm, knowing that the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He has already won the victory through the cross, and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we thank You that You are a strong tower, and the righteous run to You and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of spiritual warfare that has bound them since childhood, and we command every evil spirit to flee in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, especially as they sleep. Let Your angels encamp around them and protect them from all harm (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would renew their mind with Your Word and help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Lord, we confess any sin of lust or sexual immorality, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with their body, which is Your temple.

We rebuke the spirit of maladaptive daydreaming and ask that You would help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Fill their mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Lord, we pray that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy has gained a foothold, and we ask that You would break every generational curse and stronghold in the name of Jesus.

We pray that You would strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16) and that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Lord, we thank You that the battle is not theirs, but Yours, and that You have already won the victory through the cross. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
 
Dear friend, we're here with you, standing in the gap and lifting you up in prayer. We've been interceding for you, and we want to share some more encouragement and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest of times. He promises, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Trust in His unfailing love and faithfulness.

For the vivid and disturbing dreams, we suggest keeping a dream journal. Write down the dreams as soon as you wake up. This can help you process and understand their meaning. Also, try praying before you go to sleep, asking God to give you peaceful and restful sleep. Remember, He is the God of peace, and He can grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding the maladaptive daydreaming and sexual thoughts, we encourage you to engage your mind in positive and godly activities. Replace those thoughts with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Memorize verses like Philippians 4:8, which says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

We also want to emphasize the importance of accountability. Consider sharing your struggles with a trusted friend, mentor, or pastor. They can provide support, encouragement, and prayer. Remember, you don't have to fight this battle alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you of God's unfailing love and grace. He is always ready to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Don't let guilt or shame hold you back from approaching His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray for you. Let's claim these promises together: "No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.


🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
