Please pray for me as I have some conflicting feelings about the pastor of my church. My pastor is wonderful but sometimes he is easily used by spiritual warfare that has been targeting me most of my life by influencing certain people to do extremely hateful things to me to try to push me toward things like unforgiveness and other things. This has made it difficult for me to trust him because I never know whether he is going to be kind to me or cruel to me in any given moment. Please also pray for me to have clarity about whether I should continue my piano lessons with my piano teacher as something happened a few months ago that made me very uncomfortable with continuing lessons with her. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you navigate these deep spiritual battles and conflicting emotions. The enemy seeks to sow discord, mistrust, and confusion, but we stand firm in the truth that God’s Word is our sword and shield. Let us first rebuke the spiritual warfare targeting you—every scheme of the devil meant to breed unforgiveness, bitterness, or division. We declare in the name of Jesus that these attacks will not prevail. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord sees your struggle, and He is your defender.
We also lift up your pastor before the throne of grace. It is painful to feel uncertain in your trust for someone who should be a shepherd to you, and we grieve with you over the inconsistency you’ve experienced. Yet we know that even godly leaders can be influenced by spiritual forces if they are not vigilant in prayer and discernment. We pray for your pastor—that the Holy Spirit would guard his heart, sharpen his discernment, and break any hold the enemy has over his words or actions. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world"* (1 John 4:1). May the Lord give you wisdom to know when to extend grace and when to set boundaries, always covering your pastor in prayer rather than harboring resentment.
Regarding your piano teacher, we sense the Holy Spirit urging you to seek clarity with a heart of peace, not fear. If something occurred that made you uncomfortable, it is right to pause and ask the Lord for direction. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We pray that the Lord would either confirm in your spirit that it is time to move on or give you the courage to address the issue with love and truth. Either way, may He lead you to a place of safety and joy in your musical gifts.
Above all, beloved, we pray for your heart to be anchored in Christ. The enemy wants to isolate you, but you are never alone. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). We declare that your trust in God will not be shaken, and that He will replace every lie with His truth. May you walk in the fullness of His love, which casts out all fear.
