We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured spiritual warfare from childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The attacks you have faced are not of God, and we stand firm in the authority of Christ to break every chain and stronghold that has taken root.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. There is no victory in spiritual warfare apart from Him. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have not done this, we pray that you would surrender your life to Him today.
For those who are in Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus has already secured your victory, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and affliction in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled and every generational curse to be broken by the power of the cross.
Father God, we ask You to surround this precious one with Your holy angels. Let Your presence be a shield and a fortress, a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2). We pray for healing—spirit, soul, and body—from every wound inflicted by the enemy. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your Word, which is truth.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Teach them to recognize the schemes of the devil so that they may not be outwitted by him (2 Corinthians 2:11). Clothe them in the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). May they wield these weapons with confidence, knowing that You have already won the battle.
Lord, we ask that You would expose any areas of sin or compromise that may have given the enemy a foothold. If there has been unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, reveal it so that it may be confessed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a heart of repentance and a spirit of humility before You.
We also lift up any generational influences that may have contributed to this spiritual warfare. We break every curse, every word spoken in judgment, and every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus. We declare that the bloodline is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against this family shall prosper from this day forward.
Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in the power and authority that You have given to every believer. May they rise up as a warrior for Your kingdom, boldly declaring Your truth and advancing Your purposes. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, a new anointing to break yokes and set captives free (Isaiah 10:27).
Lastly, we pray for a community of believers to surround and support this one. Let them find fellowship with those who will stand with them in prayer, encourage them in the faith, and hold them accountable. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
We declare that the warfare is over. The enemy has been defeated, and the victory is already won. We speak life, peace, joy, and freedom over this one in the name of Jesus. May they walk in the fullness of their identity as a child of God, redeemed, restored, and renewed. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. Amen.
