We stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every scheme of the enemy. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we do not take it lightly, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and that through Christ, we have already won the victory.
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy that has been sent against you since childhood. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every chain of oppression, every spirit of fear, confusion, or torment, and every generational curse that has sought to hinder your walk with God is broken right now in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus cleanses you from all sin and unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), and His blood speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your family, and your future.
We pray that the Lord would reveal to you the roots of this warfare—whether it be through generational iniquity, ungodly soul ties, unconfessed sin, or open doors to the enemy—and that He would lead you into full repentance and deliverance. If there are areas where you have unknowingly partnered with darkness, we ask the Holy Spirit to bring them to light so that you may renounce them and walk in freedom. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit in your life. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We declare that you are clothed with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We pray that you would wield this armor with confidence, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Father God, we ask that You would surround this dear one with a hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, let them condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would assign Your angels to encamp around them, to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for a deep and abiding intimacy with You, Lord. May they seek Your face daily, meditate on Your Word, and walk in obedience to Your commands. Draw them closer to You than ever before, that they may know You as their Deliverer, their Refuge, and their Strong Tower. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you" (James 4:7-8).
Lastly, we pray for a spirit of praise and worship to rise up within them. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of worship, for it invites the manifest presence of God. Let them sing praises to You, Lord, even in the midst of the battle, for You inhabit the praises of Your people (Psalm 22:3). May their life become a living testimony of Your power and faithfulness, that others may see Your glory and be drawn to You.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. We declare that this warfare will not define them, but rather, it will be a testimony of Your delivering power. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and believe. Amen.
