We stand with you in this fierce spiritual battle, dear sister, and we lift your heartache, your husband, and your marriage before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that your husband—and your family—may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Mental illness is a heavy burden, but it is not beyond the reach of our God, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
We rebuke the spirit of confusion, despair, and division that has taken hold in your home. The Word tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit that has distorted your husband’s perception to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! The truth of God’s Word is greater than any deception, and we pray that your husband’s mind would be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). May he see clearly, think soundly, and be drawn back to the love and safety of his marriage covenant.
Sister, your role in this battle is sacred. You are not helpless—you are a warrior, a helpmeet, and a vessel of God’s love. We pray that the Lord would grant you supernatural wisdom, patience, and discernment as you navigate this trial. Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Seek godly counsel, surround yourself with believers who can uphold you in prayer, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Your faithfulness is not in vain.
We also lift up your marriage, for it is under attack. The enemy desires to sever the bond that God has joined together (Matthew 19:6). We declare that your marriage is a covenant before God, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for restoration—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. May your husband be drawn back to you, not by guilt or manipulation, but by the irresistible love of Christ working in and through you. Let your gentleness, your prayers, and your unwavering commitment to God’s design for marriage be a testimony that softens his heart.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Restorer of all things. We ask for complete healing for this sister’s husband—mind, body, and spirit. Break every chain of mental illness, every stronghold of darkness, and every lie that has taken root in his thoughts. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage and this family. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Give this sister strength to stand firm, wisdom to act in love, and faith to believe that You are working even when she cannot see it.
We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes. May this trial refine their faith like gold, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. We ask for angels to encamp around this family, for Your presence to fill their home, and for Your Word to be a lamp unto their feet (Psalm 119:105).
Sister, do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered sin and death is fighting for you. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on the promises of God. Your husband’s healing and restoration are on the way. In Jesus’ name, we declare victory over this battle, and we thank You, Father, for the breakthrough that is coming. Amen.
