We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden you carry in the realm of spiritual warfare. Though the details are veiled, we know the Lord sees and understands every battle you face. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take up the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). We pray you would stand firm in this armor, resisting the devil so he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your heavenly hosts, dispatching angels to encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16), and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also encourage you to remain vigilant in prayer and Scripture, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8).
Lord, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare victory over every scheme of the enemy, for the battle is not ours, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). May this dear one walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, knowing that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
