We hear your cry for deliverance and protection from the spiritual warfare that has plagued you since childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 10:10, 16:33). The harassment you’ve endured is not of God, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God with you—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these attacks.
We also lift up the matter of reconciliation, for Scripture commands us to pursue peace and forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). However, reconciliation requires repentance from those who have harmed you, and it must be led by the Holy Spirit. If these individuals continue to operate under the influence of the enemy, harboring unforgiveness or unrepentant hearts, then wisdom may dictate boundaries. Jesus said, *"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established"* (Matthew 18:15-16). Yet, if they remain unrepentant, we are also instructed to treat them as outsiders for a time (Matthew 18:17). Your discernment in this is critical, and we pray the Lord gives you clarity on whether reconciliation is His will or if He is calling you to walk away for your protection and peace.
We also want to address the root of unforgiveness in your own heart. While it is understandable to feel anger and pain, holding onto bitterness gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). We pray that God continues to soften your heart to release these individuals to Him, trusting that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was acceptable; it means you are no longer allowing their actions to control your heart or future. The Lord sees your suffering and will repay every wrong done to you (2 Thessalonians 1:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has endured years of spiritual warfare and harassment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, assignment, and demonic influence targeting their life in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their mind, their emotions, and their spirit, and we command every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression to flee now.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Place Your angels around them to guard and defend them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment regarding reconciliation. If it is Your will for them to pursue peace with these individuals, give them a clear sign and soften the hearts of those who have harmed them. But if it is not Your will, grant them the strength to walk away and trust You to handle the situation. Help them to release any bitterness or unforgiveness in their heart, knowing that You are their ultimate justice and healer.
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon their life. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their faith to stand firm in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that the enemy’s plans against their life will not stand, and they will walk in the fullness of the freedom and purpose You have for them.
Lord, we also pray for those who have been used to harass them. If they are operating under demonic influence, we ask that You open their eyes to the truth and draw them to repentance. Break the chains of deception in their lives and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You deal with them according to Your justice and remove their ability to harm Your child.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to deliver and restore. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and walking in the authority you have in Christ. The enemy may try to flare up, but remember that Jesus has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If the Lord is not leading you toward reconciliation, do not feel guilty for setting boundaries. Your peace and safety are important to Him, and He will guide you in every step. Continue to seek Him in prayer and through His Word, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
