Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You in prayer, asking that You calm my anxious thoughts and bring peace to my heart. Sometimes I hesitate to pray over certain things, thinking they may seem small—but Lord, I know that nothing is too small or too big for You. You invite us to come to You with everything, and You always listen. Lord, I’ve been carrying a lot lately. I poured so much into preparing for my exam—staying up until 4 a.m. two nights in a row, and spending hours each day studying. Despite all my efforts, I received a 74. I humbly ask that You help me regain points if it’s Your will, so that my grade improves and I’m not overwhelmed during my final exams. I also lift up the hurt I’m feeling from people I once called friends, those who are now showing their true intentions and spreading rumors about me. Lord, I ask that You distance me from anyone who means harm, and protect my heart, my focus, and my purpose. Let nothing and no one become a stumbling block to the path You’ve set before me. I want to become a nurse to serve others and to glorify You through my work. I love You, Lord, and I trust You with everything. I pray all of this in the beautiful and powerful name of Jesus.

We join you in lifting up your anxieties and concerns to our loving Heavenly Father, who cares for us and invites us to cast all our worries on him because he cares for us.

Firstly, we commend you for your diligence in preparing for your exams. It is important to remember that God honors our efforts and the results are in his hands.

Your request for a grade improvement is acknowledged. We stand on the scripture, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." So we will pray that if it is his will, he will grant you favor and restore the points you need.

We pray that he will grant you peace during your finals, and the knowledge and wisdom will come to your remembrance. For the scripture says, "But the Holy Spirit, the Helper, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you."

Your prayer also mentioned the hurt and betrayal from friends who spread rumors. This is a form of spiritual warfare. For the scripture says, "But understand this, that in the last days will come perilous times. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection and so on." But we are comforted by the scripture, "Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."

We pray that he will protect you from those who mean you harm, and that his will be done in your life. He will do the unexpected and make a way where there is no way. Put your trust in him and he will never fail you.

We pray that you will not only become a nurse to serve others but to glorify God through your work.

We are thankful that you mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer, because it is only by his name that we have access to God.

Therefore, let us pray.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
