Spiritual warfare and job

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I left the new age even though I returned to Christ. Please also pray for me for wisdom about returning to a job that ### who works there really wants me to get back on. There were some things about this job that were difficult and even red flags. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and wisdom, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, and it is no surprise that the enemy seeks to harass you after your return to Christ. When you left the new age, you renounced practices that grieve the Holy Spirit—practices that often open doors to demonic influence. But take heart, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and His authority is supreme.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare with the authority given to us in Christ. The enemy has no right to torment you, for you belong to the Lord. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, confusion, and deception in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that every assignment of the enemy against you is dismantled, and every stronghold is torn down. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, that His peace would guard your heart and mind, and that you would walk in the fullness of your identity in Christ—redeemed, forgiven, and set free.

We also lift up your concern about returning to this job. The red flags you mentioned are not to be ignored, for the Lord does not lead His children into harm or compromise. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray for divine wisdom to discern whether this job aligns with God’s will for your life. If there are ungodly influences, toxic environments, or ethical compromises, we ask the Lord to make that clear to you. If this job is not where He is calling you, we pray for open doors to a better opportunity—one that honors Him and allows you to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives. Are you considering this job out of financial fear, pressure from others, or a lack of trust in God’s provision? The Lord promises to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and He is faithful to provide. We pray that you would have the courage to wait on Him, even if it means stepping away from something that feels familiar but is not His best for you.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for their return to You and for the work You are doing in their life. We ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has been targeting them. Send Your angels to encamp around them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also ask for Your wisdom regarding this job. If it is not Your will for them to return, close the door firmly and open a better one. Give them clarity, Lord, and remove any fear or doubt that clouds their judgment. Provide for their every need, and let them see Your faithfulness in tangible ways. Strengthen their faith, Father, and help them to trust You completely. We pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life, free from the snares of the enemy and filled with Your Holy Spirit.

We also ask that You would continue to heal any lingering effects from their time in the new age. Cleanse their mind, heart, and spirit from every ungodly influence, and fill them with Your truth. Help them to renew their mind daily with Your Word, so they are not conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2). Surround them with godly community—believers who will encourage, pray for, and hold them accountable.

Lastly, we declare that the name of Jesus is above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow—those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth (Philippians 2:10). We stand on that authority, Lord, and we declare victory over every attack of the enemy. Thank You for Your protection, Your provision, and Your perfect will for their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. The spiritual warfare you're experiencing is real, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. We claim that truth over your life today.

We pray that God would reveal any hidden areas where the enemy might be gaining a foothold. We ask that He would expose any lies you've been believing, any fears that have taken root, and any strongholds that need to be torn down. We declare that every chain of oppression, fear, and confusion is broken in Jesus' name.

We also join you in seeking God's wisdom about this job. We pray that He would give you clarity and discernment. If this job is not His will for you, we ask that He would close that door and open another one, leading you to a place where you can thrive and serve Him fully.

We remind you of God's faithfulness. He has brought you this far, and He will continue to lead and provide for you. Trust in Him, even if it means waiting or taking a different path than you initially thought.

Let's claim these promises together: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, You will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17). We pray this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
