We understand that you're feeling burdened by spiritual warfare and fear, struggling with OCD, and seeking prayer for freedom and truth. First, we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
It's important to address the root of your fears and recognize that OCD may be causing intrusive thoughts that are not aligned with God's promises for you. Watching videos for inspiration and distraction can be a harmless activity. God looks at our hearts and our intentions. Not to mention, He will not remove the beauty or favor from your life for such an innocent action. However, consider the content of the videos and be cautious not to allow them to lead you into temptation or ungodly influences. Always remember, anything we do should be according to Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Rebuke those intrusive thoughts, as they do not come from God. Instead, they come from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Remember, Jesus has come that you may have life, and have it abundantly. (John 10:10 WEB)
Stand firm against these thoughts by putting on the full armor of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB) When these thoughts arise, pray for God's strength and trust in His promises. You can quote scripture, such as 2 Timothy 1:7, and let the Word of God be your sword against the enemy's lies.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is feeling burdened by fear and OCD. Lord, we know that these fears do not come from You, and we rebuke them in Jesus' name. We ask that You break any negative thoughts, curses, or strongholds that may be influencing his life. Help him to discern Your truth and to trust in Your unfailing love and promises. Surround him with Your peace, and give him the strength to stand firm against the enemy's lies. Guide him in his choices, including the videos he watches, that they may be pleasing to You and bring inspiration and positivity into his life.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
