Spiritual Protection

Please pray for me for spiritual protection from negative energies. Amen. Thank you. May God bless you

We hear your cry for spiritual protection and stand with you in this battle, not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. The Bible makes it clear that we are engaged in a spiritual warfare, and we must put on the full armor of God to stand firm. Ephesians 6:12-13 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

The concept of "negative energies" is not a biblical one, but we understand that you are referring to the influence of evil spirits and the work of the enemy, Satan. The Bible warns us that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We must be sober and vigilant, resisting him steadfast in the faith.

First and foremost, we must ensure that we have a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and the power to overcome the enemy. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Once we are in Christ, we have authority over the enemy. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We must exercise this authority in the name of Jesus, rebuking and resisting the devil and his schemes.

Let us pray together for your spiritual protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority and power we have in Jesus' name to overcome the enemy. We stand together with our brother/sister, claiming the blood of Jesus over their life and their household. We put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, protecting them from all harm and danger. We rebuke and bind every evil spirit that seeks to oppress or harass them, commanding them to flee in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom, discernment, and a spirit of boldness to resist the enemy. Help them to submit to You and to draw near to You, so that the devil will flee from them (James 4:7). Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word.

We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their family, and their home. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life, declaring that the enemy has no place or power there. We thank You for Your promise in Psalm 91, that You will deliver them from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence, that You will cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings they will take refuge.

Lord, we ask that You would expose any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and we repent of any sin or disobedience. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore them to right fellowship with You. Help them to walk in the light, as You are in the light, so that they may have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, cleanses them from all sin (1 John 1:7).

We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the light of Your Word.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to:

1. Read and meditate on God's Word daily. The Bible is our sword in spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17), and it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Fill your mind with Scripture, and let it guide your thoughts and actions.

2. Put on the full armor of God daily. Ephesians 6:14-18 describes the armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Make a habit of putting on each piece of armor in prayer every day.

3. Worship and praise God regularly. Worship invites the presence of God and drives away the enemy. Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of His people. As you worship, you create an atmosphere where the enemy cannot dwell.

4. Fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, but to exhort one another. There is strength in numbers, and the enemy seeks to isolate us. Stay connected to a local body of believers who can support and encourage you in your faith.

5. Walk in obedience to God's Word. Sin gives the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:27). As we walk in obedience to God, we close the door to the enemy and open the door to God's blessing and protection.

6. Exercise your authority in Christ. You have been given authority over the enemy in Jesus' name. Do not be afraid to use it. Command evil spirits to leave in Jesus' name, and they must obey. However, always do so with humility and reverence for God's power and authority.

Remember, the battle is already won. Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, and we share in that victory. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be moved by the enemy's tactics. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8), and you will experience His peace, protection, and power in your life.

Thank you for trusting us with this request. We’re glad you reached out, and we’re praying with you for spiritual protection. When the weight of darkness feels close, it can be unsettling, but we want you to remember that your safety doesn’t rest on your own strength, it rests in Jesus, who has already overcome every evil power.

We’ve found that one of the most steadying things we can do in such moments is simply speak the truth out loud, even quietly: “I belong to Christ. He is with me.” Naming His presence can quiet the internal noise and anchor us back to reality. It also helps not to face these struggles alone. We’d encourage you to let a trusted Christian friend, small group, or pastor know what you’re experiencing. The enemy thrives in isolation, and simply being honest with someone who will pray with you in person can break much of that intimidation.

Another practice that many have found helpful is to spend a few minutes each day reading from the Psalms aloud, they give voice to our fears while reminding us again and again that God is our very present refuge. Consistent, ordinary time in His presence often does more to shield our minds than we realize.

We’re praying now.

Father, we lift up this dear person who seeks Your protection. Surround them with Your presence; let Your peace that surpasses understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Silence every voice of fear, and help them rest in the unshakable truth that nothing can snatch them from Your hand. Strengthen them inwardly by Your Spirit, and give them daily reminders of Your faithful love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, must be taken up at once. You speak of negative energies; I understand these to be those dark assaults of the Evil One, those whispers of doubt, those oppressive glooms that would drive you from the Rock of your salvation. Above all, take the shield of faith. Let it not rust at home while you go naked into the day’s battle. Faith is no use except it be well handled, handle it by prayer, by clinging to the promises of a faithful God, by remembering that He who delivered you from the pit of sin will deliver you still. Look not to yourself; that way lies defeat. Look to Christ, who died, and in that death conquered every accusing voice. Stand behind that broad shield and answer every fiery dart: “It is Christ that died.”

You need not submit to these dark influences as though you were without defense. The deliverance of a child of God is to walk in holiness without hindrance, and that deliverance is as much the work of God as the pardon of your guilt. Look to your heavenly Father alone for sanctification and protection. He has delivered us from the power of darkness; He will not now abandon the sheep to the devouring lion. But see that you do not cast away your shield, for to cast it away is disgrace, giving up the conflict, ceasing to hope for safety. Hold fast. Your afflictions, these oppressive assaults, lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. The Lord may chasten you sorely, but He is teaching you to wield faith with a warrior’s skill, and when deliverance comes, you shall declare the works of the Lord with fresh gratitude. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Prayer shall be offered for you, that the Defender of the elect would cover your head in the day of battle.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The battle you speak of is real, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Those negative energies are the fiery darts of the evil one, sent to kindle the flame of anger, despondency, or evil desire within you. But the Commander stands by, unconquerable, and has furnished you with strong arms. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth. What is this truth? It is to live not in pretense, but in the light of Christ, whose very word is truth. Put on the breastplate of righteousness, not your own, but that which comes from faith, that your heart may be guarded against every wicked suggestion.

Above all, take up the shield of faith. When the devil hurls his dart of evil concupiscence or fear, remember the promise of your adoption: you have received the Spirit of sonship, by whom you cry, "Abba, Father." No dart can pierce a soul that clings to this. And do you feel the sting of another's insult or the weight of some wrong? Groan at it, yes, but do not rail. Weep not for the hurt to yourself, but for the peril of the one who did it, for he has received a mortal wound from the devil. Do not cast yourself down with him by returning insult. By longsuffering you quench his fire as water quenches red-hot iron. To be wronged is better than to wrong, for the doer reaps the fruit of his sin first, wasting himself with enmity.

Keep guard with steadfastness. This present life is not the season for rest; it is the scene of conflict, the time for toil. Let none who contends seek for ease. The enemy strikes when sin is completed, leading the unwatchful to destruction, as with Judas, whose repentance came too late and bore no fruit. So be watchful. When the dark thought arises, quench it instantly with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Speak a psalm, recall a promise, cry out in prayer. Thus you wage a good warfare.

And if you seek protection, do not merely ask for it, but stand in it. God has supplied the arms; it is yours to handle them with a purpose of mind. The Commander is ever ready to help, but He looks for a soldier who obeys and takes the field. May you, then, withstand the evil day, and having done all, stand firm.
