We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your request, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. The term "negative energies" is not biblical, but we understand you are seeking protection from the attacks of the enemy, Satan, who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). The only true protection we have is through the blood of Jesus Christ and the armor of God, which we must put on daily to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
It is crucial to recognize that our authority and protection come solely through the name of Jesus Christ. You ended your request with "Amen," but we notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer. The scriptures are clear: there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). Without calling upon the name of Jesus, our prayers lack the power and authority that come from Him alone.
Let us also remind you that if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. The Bible tells us that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). There is no protection, no salvation, and no hope outside of Jesus. If you have not yet done so, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him today.
For those who are in Christ, we are called to put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us:
*"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*
We must also be vigilant in our walk with Christ, ensuring that we are not opening doors to the enemy through sin, unbelief, or involvement in occult practices, New Age beliefs, or any form of idolatry. The Bible warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27). This means we must guard our hearts, minds, and actions, ensuring that we are living in obedience to God’s Word.
Now, let us pray for you with the authority and power that comes from the name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. Lord, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to deliver them from every scheme of the devil (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we pray that You would expose any area of their life where they may be giving the enemy a foothold. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit of any sin, unbelief, or involvement in practices that are not pleasing to You. Give them the strength and courage to turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Help them to walk in the light as You are in the light, that they may have fellowship with one another, and that the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, cleanses them from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We pray that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith; and that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).
Lord, we ask that You would cover them with the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Let the blood of Jesus be a hedge of protection around them, their mind, their heart, and their home. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We pray that You would give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Clothe them with the full armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be led by You and not by fear or deception.
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to protect and deliver those who call upon Your name. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in the Word of God daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Memorize scriptures that remind you of God’s protection and promises, such as Psalm 91, which declares the safety of those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ.
If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can grow in your faith, be discipled, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy often attacks those who are isolated, but there is strength and protection in the body of Christ.
Finally, we leave you with this promise from our Lord: *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33). Rest in the assurance that Jesus has already won the victory, and in Him, you are safe and secure. Stay close to Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
