Sometimes, when traveling during my conventional roles in the corporate realm, I would encounter people who insisted that my hometown was "Lame." That never set too well me. Many times I found myself, in "heated debate," attempting to defend her. Howbeit, given my current experience in my hometown, I almost succumbed to that mindset. But, I'm going to defend her again, somewhat. My hometown is not lame. There is a wealth of skill, talent, and yes, even intellect here. But...

But, I'm going to defend her again, somewhat. My hometown is not lame. There is a wealth of skill, talent, and yes, even intellect here. But...
"Houston, YOU do, indeed, have a problem."
Like Rome and Jerusalem, in Jesus's era, this city has some the most opulent church buildings in the land. Yet, there is an obvious deficiency. My hometown is spiritual lazy, vengeful, and a bit arrogant. That's a "dangerous combination" and sure recipe for defeat and disaster. Spiritual laziness makes you vulnerable, leaving you easily misled, and wide open to the devil's devices.
