We join you in lifting up these young men before the throne of grace and we agree together for their deep spiritual growth in Jesus' name.

We pray that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18 and that they may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy Col 1:9-12.

We ask the Lord to train them in disciplined spiritual duties, for bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come 1 Tim 4:7. May they give diligence to present themselves approved by God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15, and may they hunger like newborn babies for the pure milk of the Word, that they may grow thereby 1 Pet 2:2. Teach them to pray without ceasing, to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward them 1 Thes 5:16-18, praying at all times in the Spirit and being watchful to that end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints Eph 6:18, never giving up Luke 18:1.

We speak the priestly blessing over them, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace Num 6:24-26. If any of them lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we pray the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of their hearts enlightened Eph 1:17-18.

We pray they will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love their neighbor as themselves Mk 12:30-31, and that their love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that they may approve the things that are excellent, that they may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God Phil 1:9-11. May the fruit of the Spirit be evident in them, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Gal 5:22-23, and may their love proceed from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith 1 Tim 1:5.

We ask for true worshipers who will worship the Father in spirit and truth Jn 4:23, for the diversity of gifts of the Holy Spirit to be stirred up among them 1 Cor 12:4-11, and for boldness to go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation, with signs and wonders following as the Lord works with them Mk 16:15-20. Make them intercessors who will not keep silent for the sake of souls, and grant that many will be saved, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. Let them be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let their requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7.

We also agree for their protection and healing, bless Yahweh, my soul, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction Psalm 103:2-4, for by his wounds we have been healed Isa 53:5, 1 Pet 2:24. We pray you will not bring them into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one Matt 6:13, keep them from evil Jn 17:15, and forgive us our sins as we forgive everyone who is indebted to us, and bring us not into temptation Luke 11:4.

We thank you Father in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mk 11:24, and we ask all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. May these young men become mighty men of God, faithful in courtship and marriage, pure and blameless, ready to lead their future families in righteousness. Amen.

We appreciate your faithful heart for these young men and the way you have held them before the Lord for growth, wisdom, love and protection. We join you in thanking God for what He is already doing in their lives and for your steady intercession on their behalf.

What encourages us as we pray for younger believers is remembering that spiritual growth is usually slow and quiet, more like training for a long race than a single event. It happens gradually over a lifetime with highs and lows, and God uses simple, steady means to shape them. Time in the Word, honest prayer, worship with other believers, and reliance on the Holy Spirit who alone makes things grow are the core conditions. Each young man is uniquely made, so the way God grows one may look a little different from another.

If it is helpful, you might take one or two of them and walk more closely for a season in a simple, consistent way, perhaps a brief weekly time to read together, pray, and check in honestly about life. That kind of low pressure, ongoing training often bears more lasting fruit than trying to make everything happen at once, and it gives them friendship and accountability as they learn to follow Christ.

Father, we lift these young men to You in Jesus' name. Draw them close to Yourself, keep them from temptation and the evil one, and form in them love, discernment and a hunger for Your Word. Give them joy in worship and strength to walk faithfully, and give those who mentor them wisdom, patience and encouragement. Amen.

There is great cause to rejoice that you bring these young men before the Lord in prayer, and I do heartily join you in it. The importance of a young life cannot be overstated, for how short life is and how swift is time, and what a mercy it is when young men in the natural sense are also young men in the spiritual sense.

The apostle John wrote, I have written unto you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the Wicked One. This is the model young man we desire to see, not all young men are so by nature, but by grace they may become so. My prayer with you is that they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18, and that they may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, to walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, according to Colossians 1:9-12.

We ask the Lord to train them in disciplined spiritual duties, to exercise themselves unto godliness, to be diligent students of the Word rightly dividing the truth, and to be men of prayer, continuing instant in supplication and watching thereunto, praying always with all prayer in the Spirit. May the blessing of Numbers 6 rest upon them, the Lord bless them and keep them and make His face to shine upon them, and may the Lord who gives wisdom liberally bestow it upon them as they ask in faith according to James 1:5.

We pray also that they may know love in its full compass, love from God, love for God with all heart and soul and mind and strength, and love for neighbour as for self, abounding in knowledge and discernment that they may approve things that are excellent and be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, as in Philippians 1:9-11. May the fruit of the Holy Spirit be seen in them, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, and that love which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith. We ask for hunger for the Word as newborn babes desire the sincere milk, for growth in prayer, for revelation in the knowledge of Him, for hearts that worship the Father in spirit and in truth, and for grace to bear witness to the Gospel with boldness, the Lord working with them.

And with you we pray for their protection, for young men are greatly exposed and too apt to mistake the great enemy for a friend. We pray as our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, and as He prayed, that they should be kept from the evil one. The devil tempts men that he may ruin them, but God is able to keep them from falling and to sift the chaff from the wheat. May the Lord open the eyes of these young men that they may see His presence with them, which will be a very useful protection in the hour of temptation, and keep them from sin and from the pride which so easily besets the strong. We ask that they may be kept from evil ways and from the paths of their own choosing where no promise of protection is given, but may abide in His ways where He keeps His own.

We thank God in advance, believing that He hears prayer and will answer according to His will, for whatsoever we ask in prayer believing we shall receive. May the Lord perfect this good work in them, and make them strong in the Lord and useful in His service, to the praise of His grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, through whom alone is salvation, we ask these things.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
