We join you in lifting up these five young men before the Lord and we agree together for their spiritual growth and protection in Jesus name.

We pray that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18, and that they may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy in Colossians 1:9-12.

We speak the blessing over them that Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace in Numbers 6:24-26. We ask that God will give wisdom liberally to each of them, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5.

We pray that they will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love their neighbor as themselves in Mark 12:30-31, and that their love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that they may approve the things that are excellent, that they may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ in Philippians 1:9-10. We pray the goal of all instruction will be realized in them, which is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith in 1 Timothy 1:5.

We pray for healing and wholeness for them, that they will bless Yahweh and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies in Psalm 103:2-4, remembering that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5 and by his stripes you were healed in 1 Peter 2:24.

We pray they will grow in prayer as the disciples asked Lord, teach us to pray in Luke 11:1, and that as newborn babies, they will long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it they may grow in 1 Peter 2:2. We ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of their hearts enlightened in Ephesians 1:17-18, and that they will be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and endure hardship as good soldiers of Christ Jesus, able to teach others also in 2 Timothy 2:1-3.

We pray they will learn to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, and that in nothing they will be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7.

We also stand together for their protection, that the Lord will bring them not into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one in Matthew 6:13, and as Jesus prayed, we pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one in John 17:15. Keep them from deceitful speech and from pride, for we know knowledge puffs up, but love builds up in 1 Corinthians 8:1, and let no lying be found in their mouths as in Zephaniah 3:13.

We thank you Father in advance for what you are doing in these young men, believing that all things whatever we pray and ask for, believe that we have received them, and we shall have them in Mark 11:24. We trust you to establish them as faithful men of God who hunger for your Word, walk in worship and evangelism, and bear much fruit for your glory.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We were so encouraged to see your heart for these five younger men and your desire to see them rooted and growing.

We join you in praying for them, for a real hunger for the Lord, for wisdom in their choices, and for protection as they learn to walk with Him. Spiritual growth is rarely sudden or dramatic. It tends to happen gradually, almost imperceptibly, over a lifetime with highs and lows, and what matters most is that over the long haul they keep moving toward Christ.

What helps that steady growth most is pretty simple at its core. Time in the Word to hear God, honest prayer both for themselves and from others on their behalf, and worship that turns their attention to God and places them among other believers who can build them up. And none of it happens apart from the Holy Spirit, since only God makes things grow. Our part is faithfulness in those means, His part is the increase.

It can help to remember each of them will not grow in exactly the same way. God has made each one uniquely, so continuing to walk alongside them individually, listening to where each one is and encouraging the next faithful step for him, is a good way to support what God is already doing.

Father, we lift these five young men to You in Jesus' name. Draw each one closer to Yourself, keep them from the evil one, and form in them love, discernment and a sincere faith. Give them joy in Your Word, strength in prayer, and faithful friends to walk with them. Keep them and cause them to grow in grace as You will. Amen.

There is much cause for rejoicing when hearts are burdened for the spiritual growth of young men, and we gladly join you in bringing these five young men before the throne of grace.

We pray that they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as it is written, that they may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that they may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. May the Lord grant to each of them wisdom liberally as they ask in faith, and may they love the Lord their God with all their heart and soul and mind and strength, and love their neighbour as themselves. We ask that their love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment, that they may approve things that are excellent, and that love may spring from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith without hypocrisy.

We pray that they may have a sincere hunger for the pure milk of the Word that they may grow thereby, and that the Word of God may abide in them richly. For this is the mark of the model young man of whom John wrote, you are strong and the Word of God abides in you and you have overcome the Wicked One. May the Lord open their eyes that they may see, as Elisha prayed, Lord, open the eyes of the young man that he may see, that they may perceive the nearness and power of God in every place and be kept from mistaking the great enemy for a friend. Give them revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that the eyes of their understanding being enlightened they may know the hope of His calling and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.

Teach them to pray, as the disciples said, Lord, teach us to pray, and make them strong in worship and in thankfulness, rejoicing evermore, praying without ceasing, in everything giving thanks, and in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving letting their requests be made known unto God, so that the peace of God which passes all understanding may keep their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Make them strong to endure hardness as good soldiers of Jesus Christ, and to hold fast the faithful Word, that they may be able to teach others also and to make known the gospel with boldness.

We pray also for their protection, as you have asked, that the Lord would lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil, and keep them from the Evil One, as Christ prayed, I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Keep their lips from speaking guile and their feet from the path which would ensnare them. May they be kept from sin and from the love of sin, not puffed up with knowledge but built up in love, and preserved from every snare of the tempter. The worst temptation for a young Christian is often subtle and near at hand, therefore we ask the Lord to set a watch before them and to provide a way of escape in every trial.

We ask the Lord also to minister His healing and restoring grace to them according to His mercy, who forgives all thine iniquities and heals all thy diseases, and by whose stripes we are healed, that they may be whole in body and soul for His service.

We join you in thanking the Lord in advance, believing that whatsoever we ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation. May the Lord bless them and keep them, the Lord make His face shine upon them and be gracious unto them, the Lord lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace. Amen.

I have received your request for these five young men and I join you in bringing them before the Lord with thanksgiving.

I pray that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18, and that God will fill them with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so they may walk worthy of the Lord and bear fruit in every good work as in Colossians 1:9-12. May the Lord bless them and keep them and make His face shine upon them according to Numbers 6:22-27, and give them wisdom liberally as He promises in James 1:5 to all who ask in faith.

I ask that they will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love their neighbor as themselves according to Mark 12:30-31, and that their love may abound more and more in knowledge and discernment so they may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless, as in Philippians 1:9-10. May that love come from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith as in 1 Timothy 1:5.

For their souls and bodies I ask healing and renewal, that God who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases as in Psalm 103:2-5 would strengthen them, remembering that by His wounds we are healed as in Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24. Give them a hunger for the pure milk of the Word that they may grow by it as in 1 Peter 2:2, and open the eyes of their hearts to know the hope of His calling and the riches of His power as in Ephesians 1:17-20. Teach them to pray as in Luke 11:1-11, to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus as in 2 Timothy 2:1-3, to worship in spirit and truth, and to live with thankfulness and prayer in all things with the peace that guards heart and mind as in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 and Philippians 4:6-7.

The ground of the soul is hard and full of thorns and needs much careful sowing before it bears fruit, and even after fruit appears it still needs guarding from storms and from those who would deceive. So I pray that they will continue with one accord in prayer, for prayer is a powerful weapon in temptation, and that they will not be carried away but will stand firm.

I also pray for their protection, that God who is faithful will not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can bear but will with the temptation provide the way of escape that they may endure it as in 1 Corinthians 10:13. Keep them from sin and from the evil one as you asked in Luke 11:4, Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, and guard them from pride which puffs up as in 1 Corinthians 8:1, so they may be kept blameless. Youth is no excuse for sin, for a young man can be mature in youth when he walks worthily, and I pray they will be examples of this, choosing wisdom and keeping their conscience clear.

I thank God in advance, trusting His promises as in Mark 11:23-24, that He hears when we ask according to His will in the name of Jesus, and that He will complete the good work He has begun in them. May all be done for their growth in Christ alone, to His glory. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
