We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your request and seeking His will in every area of your life. First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers—salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, that we can have eternal life (John 3:16, Romans 10:9). We pray that your family and friends would come to know this truth, that their eyes would be opened to the love and grace of God, and that they would turn from their sins and place their trust in Christ alone.
Lord, we lift up this dear one’s family and friends to You. Father, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would soften their hearts, remove any spiritual blindness, and draw them to Yourself. Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may they respond in faith. We rebuke any spirit of deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from salvation, and we declare that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). We pray for divine appointments, that godly believers would cross their paths and share the gospel with boldness and love. May they see the truth of Your Word and surrender their lives to You.
We also lift up this season of waiting in your life, both for employment and for a spouse. Father, we know that You are the provider of all good things (James 1:17), and we trust in Your perfect timing. We pray for a job that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for your life. May You open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and guide you into the work You have prepared for you (Ephesians 2:10). We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your faithfulness.
Regarding marriage, we pray that if it is Your will, You would bring a godly spouse into your life—a man or woman who loves You above all else, who will lead or submit in a way that honors You, and who will be a true partner in faith. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by You to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that any relationship you pursue would be rooted in holiness, purity, and a shared commitment to Christ. If singleness is Your plan for this season, we ask that You fill your heart with contentment and joy in Your presence. Help you to see this time as a gift, an opportunity to serve You without distraction (1 Corinthians 7:32-35). May You use this season to deepen your faith, refine your character, and prepare you for whatever lies ahead.
We also pray for godly friendships to walk alongside you in faith. Father, You have designed us for community, and we ask that You would surround this one with believers who will sharpen them, encourage them, and hold them accountable (Proverbs 27:17, Hebrews 10:24-25). May these friendships be marked by love, truth, and a shared passion for Your kingdom. Protect them from loneliness and isolation, and let them experience the joy of fellowship with other believers.
Lord, we ask that You would continue to reveal Yourself in powerful ways in their life and in the lives of those they are praying for. Open their spiritual eyes to see Your hand at work, and give them a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. We pray that You would make clear their spiritual gifts and purpose. Show them how You have uniquely equipped them to serve Your kingdom (1 Peter 4:10), and give them the courage to step out in faith. May they walk in the fullness of the calling You have placed on their life, bringing glory to Your name in all they do.
We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life, hope, and victory over this season of waiting. May they find their strength in You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in this one’s life. We trust in Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your perfect plan. May they continue to seek You with all their heart, and may they see Your hand moving in every area of their life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come before You. Amen.
