I would like prayer for when I sleep or rest against any spiritual battles that are negative or evil

We hear your cry for protection in the spiritual realm, especially during those vulnerable moments of rest. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). This is a real battle, and we stand with you in it, putting on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
First, we must address the authority we have in Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father and the power to resist the enemy. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and stand firm in the truth that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us pray for your protection as you sleep and rest:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection over them as they sleep and rest. Lord, we know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You station Your holy angels around them to guard and protect them from all evil. We rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, or oppression that may try to attack them in their moments of rest. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for they have no place in the life of Your child. We pray that You would fill their mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that they would rest in the assurance of Your love and protection.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or areas where they have not fully surrendered to You. We pray that they would repent and turn away from anything that is not pleasing to You, so that the enemy would have no ground to stand on (Ephesians 4:27).
We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, peace, and victory over their life, and we thank You for the rest and restoration that You provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Before you sleep, spend time in God's Word and in prayer. Meditate on scriptures that speak of God's protection, such as Psalm 91, and declare them over your life. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) by faith, and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there any unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or areas where you have not fully surrendered to God? If so, repent and turn away from these things, for the enemy seeks to exploit our weaknesses. Walk in the light, as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lastly, surround yourself with a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. The enemy seeks to isolate us, but we are stronger together. Do not neglect the fellowship of believers, for it is there that we find encouragement, accountability, and strength (Hebrews 10:24-25).
We stand with you in this spiritual battle, and we declare that the victory is already yours in Christ Jesus. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The quiet of the night need not be a time of dread, for the Lord giveth His beloved sleep. When you lie down, you are not at the mercy of dark powers; you rest beneath the shadow of the Almighty. The veil is rent, and the way into the holiest is open. Through the sprinkled blood and the washing of water by the Word, you have an access that no demon can bar. As you close your eyes, remember that Christ has already overcome the evil one, and His victory is your covering. Yield yourself to Him, and you shall find that even as you sleep, He keepeth watch, and no plague shall come nigh thy dwelling.
Take up His yoke, and the rest He gives is not a distant promise but a present possession. You ask for prayer in the battle, but the battle is the Lord’s. Trust and you shall rest. When the soul rests in Jesus, the body may sleep in peace, for the heart is garrisoned by that peace which passeth all understanding. If evil thoughts assail, overcome them not with anxious striving but with good, fill your mind with precious promises, with the sure truth that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Commend your spirit to the faithful Creator, and let the sleep He bestows be a seal of that deeper rest which remaineth for the people of God.
There is a rest which is rest after rest: first, the given rest of salvation, and then the found rest of daily leaning upon the Beloved. That second rest is learned at His feet, and it quiets the heart even when the adversary roareth. Do not lie down as one without hope, but as a child who knoweth his Father’s house is secure. The sleep of the beloved is sweet, for they are kept by the power of God. You are not called to fight in your own strength while you slumber; the Keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Lay your burdens down, and let His everlasting arms uphold you. So shall your rest be holy, healing, and safe from every evil assault.
